It's far from over IMO, despite SA being up 2-0 (tho history hasn't been kind to Finals teams down 2-0). Still, the Spurs look awfully good right now, and the Pistons can't win if Brown isn't 100% into it.
Larry Brown... great coach, but more afraid of long term commitment than a natural born playa. He'll go to Cleveland next year, then to like New Orleans in 2008, then some other team in 2010... Kinda sucks IMO. That's his only flaw tho.

But he's a legend. I hope he comes to Minnesota for a few years.Larry Brown... great coach, but more afraid of long term commitment than a natural born playa. I'm still saying Spurs in 5. Detroit will get one at home but that's it. -

I really wish the Spurs would win this at home, but I will still go with my Spurs in 5 prediction too. -

It would be one thing if the Pistons were only down 2-0, but to lose both games by 20 points? agh. I'm calling it over. They might make it to 6 games if they're lucky. -

That's all swell but the Lakers are gonna suck again next year.
I'm calling it right now before the announcement is even official. -

Anyway, I think if he can get the team to play solid, stifling defense, they have a good shot at the playoffs. They just need to be consistent.
Unfortunately, they can't realy do shit with the roster unless New Orleans has any good players to throw away for trash (*cough* Baron Davis last year *cough*). -

Haha. Agreed. Having Phil back is nice and all, but they still won't make the playoffs. He won't last the three years neither. That's all swell but the Lakers are gonna suck again next year.

ROFLMAO
Detroit will win tonight's game tho.
Funny thing... they showed Stevie Wonder in the stands 'watching' the game. He was grooving away to... something. But I thought it was pretty hilarious to see Stevie "I Can't See!!!" Wonder watching a game live. Kinda defeats the purpose, tho I'm sure he wanted to just share the atmosphere. Still, the idea of it sounds funny. -

Nice edit, SA.
Detroit did win tonight. I guess that will be the one they lose. I am still sticking with my prediction of 5 games.
I too saw Stevie Wonder "grooving" and "watching" the game in the stands. Quite funny. -

In the NBA.com article about tonight's blowout, the quote of the night comes in:After that, all the 22,076 at The Palace cared about was the appearance of human victory cigar Darko Milicic, who came on late and scored in the final minute.
Hilarious but true.
Anyway, who'd have thought that a series this close would feature every game being a blowout. Definitely weird. -

Wow i need to stop by here more often. I'm sticking to my original prediction of the Pistons in 6, but if they lose tonight it's over. -

Im not suprised by that hug Dunken gave Horry after that shot, he most have said something like "Thank you for saveing my ass!" -

Oh man. What a great game. Big Shot Bob saved Duncan's ass. Duncan had so many chances to win that game or at least give us a lead. You could tell he was trying hard too because he totally changed his free throws.
