I have one question. Can you change the speed of water/lift on water rides in RCT3?
well, onto the screens, I love it!!! You could have a bit more theme though... -

This park amazes me, it definitely takes the cake to become my all-time favorite RCT park. the atmosphere in the screens is spectacular. Great Job as always!! -

That Tinderbox screen is fucking fantastic. Not sure about the jagged land (i think?) in the background though... -

Take one man...driven by greed, left alone with no "saleable" skills, and you have Shady Sal. Shady Sal came travelling through one day, and decided to set up camp. "Shady Sal's Salacious Circus" has been "at home" since Tussaud's Enchanted Kingdom has been around (roughly 17 years). With Balaban's Getaway Boats, Bandito Ridge Falls, Sal's Spinmaster, among other first rate attractions, Shady Sal and his vagabond circus are sure to delight all, young and old. Beware...the "wrong side of the tracks"...otherwise known as Shanty Town.
Screens of Balaban's Getaway Boats, and a few layout shots of Thunderhawk...a floorless unthemed as of yet, are available to view. I shan't post new screens until I get back from Hawaii, which I will be leaving for this week and won't be back until December 15th. So, really, you won't see anything new until after Christmas, as I won't be working on this thing until then anyway.
Have a safe holiday season everyone.

Just wondering... How's the frame rate in your park? I've seen parks that look a lot less detailed but have a terrible frame rate (and my computer isn't bad at all). Although, these parks do have a lot of water and terrain editing (which seems to lower the frame rate even more than rides and scenery). -

between 30-50 fps during daytime.....about 20-25 at night....right now. I expect it will drop dramatically once the park is done...and I too have a behemoth of a machine. Kinda sad really. -

Your park looks lovely, Meretrix. The first RCT3 park that I'm really looking forward to (hoping that you don't leave again ). I do have one question, though, why do you use Webshots? It's so clunky and tedious (but good for having groups of photos... So I guess I can understand why). Keep it up! -

Unless I die in a fiery plane crash on the way to Hawaii (....how...LOST) I anticipate that I'll be around for a very long while. Long enough to at least finish this park. I find that I can build so much faster in RCT3....maybe it's because there isn't any custom scenery, and you just sort of have to innovate (harkening back to the LL days)
On a side note...one of the cool new things you can do with this game is save a track design that is not a complete circuit...so all of those "awnings" and other things that we used track pieces for, can be created as a coaster, then saved, and then built anywhere when we need them. It saves a lot of time.
To answer your lurking question....no, at the moment I do NOT have a life.
Then again...did I ever? -

Hello.
I feel so inferior B....
Look what you do to me, with your crazy ways and insane screens...
You and Kev have driven me to redo most of my park already. SInce I KNOW I can do better than what I have already.
Sorry about Thunderhawk BtW. I think that layout might have fit your park better than mine, but atleast I don't suck at something in the game thus far (making rides).
Keep pumping the good shit out. I need someone to copy off of...

OK.......
It seems that I am moving to DC for real.
That said, I have to spend the next three months closing up shop here in California.
So...........I am releasing what I have done so far on this park.
I am retiring from RCT3...for real.
There are way too many pressing issues in my life to play around on the computer any longer.
I know, I know......I've said this before.
Sadly, this time it has to be true......I wish it didn't, but if I said I was going to keep working on this, and then never release it, that would suck.
So....better to send it off, and let someone else have the glory of completing it, modifying it, whatever.
I won't be around here much anymore either, as my life has gotten completely insane with this transition.
A fond adieu to you guys.....you've all been really great.
Take care of yourselves.............
And lastly...I need to send this thing to someone to host it......anyone?
Peace Out.
End transmission. -
