Man i just did a guest spot and named my B&M species, i was very fond of the name and the coaster, damn you fatha.

    Fuck...damn you.

I like the screen of the Cobra Roll but apart from that, I'm not too kenn on this update. They just seem very bare and unfinished due to the lack of architecture. And I find the treeing in those screens quite messy. It's a shame though because I love the rest of the park.

This really isn't an area that Im showing you, its just a coaster in an area. Trust the entire area will not look like what you see in the screens, it will have lots of architecture....I have to announce it I won't go into anymore details. As for the bareness, its kind of what I was going for (on the cliff top at least).

i find the foliage quite interesting, really. it looks hard to do. as for the cobra roll screen, i don't really know. i'm missing a few more buildings or park-ish atmosphere. it looks more like a coaster was built into a rainforest, rather than a park was trying to theme it's area to rainforest, or what exactly the theme is supposed to be. sorry, i didn't read, heh.
but anyway, as long as you're building, it's all good, and a change in your style is definitely beneficial for you, i'd say.

Again youll have to see the rest of the area, because what I am showing you is really very abstract (minus maybe the Cobra Roll Screen). The area this ride is in is unannounced.

Good comments so far, keep em coming.

    Fuck...damn you.

Hehe don't worry, x-sector beat you both back in Disney Xtreme (with one of the best inverts ever, too, so this floorless has a lot to live up to :p)

It looks very good - I like the land interaction aspect a lot, and that first drop/loop combination will always be a killer. Looking forward to seeing more.

The new screens are looking intresting man. they don't give alot away really at the same time.

I love the fact that the top of the lift is so close to the ground but its so higher in the air and has a huge drop now thats what its all about. I'm a big fan of height difference at the moment. The foliage isn't a major problem to me it seems to capture a jungle theme to me (If thats what your going for)
The cobra screen looks fine to me but I do think about what posix says, I also feel there should be a building or something.
Also I'll throw this in the colour of the coaster looks great and fits in with the area nicely.

    Update 9

I have a couple of things to get through in this update, so lets begin shall we. First off, I mentioned that I built a suspended roller coaster in the Ecuador section of the park, well it is now time to announce it.....

    Aviador
Take a flight through the incredible old Spanish village built on the hillsides of Ecuador, barely missing canals, pathways and buildings, not to mention the jagged rocks here and there. Climb to a height of 120 feet and plow through the village at speeds approaching 45 mph on this incredible Arrow Dynamics suspended rollercoaster, one of the last of its kind. Get ready to take flight!

Alright, i know you would expect me to follow up a screen with that lovely introduction to Aviador, but of course I must make you wait. It is finished, so screens could show up this week. And for those who have not liked what you have seen so far (perhaps you like my older stuff more), than you will like this ride because it is full of vintage Grinch theming. Not to mention that the actual suspended coaster itself is marvelous.

Now for the screenshot portion of this update. A couple of days ago I showed you Species and gave you a glimpse of what the ride is like, well now I will finish this update off and seal the deal with Species regarding screens. These screens show the ride in action....

This shows the true height of this huge ride. Its about as big as Dragon Flight in IOAH, and that was for a while the tallest realistic floorless. Its stunning to think that Acancounga is actually taller...a good deal taller. Here you see the dive off the cliff straight into a temple. Pretty simple nothing flambouyant.

    Posted Image

This really is nothing new that you have seen, just the vertical loop following the drop. The temple is shown on the right, and the jungle theming (slightly unfinished in this area) is shown as well. Again, nothing stellar just simple theming for a coaster.

This is the shot where the Cobra Roll would be hidden (If you were to be on that river bank near the lift. The land formation (cliffs) are almost taller than the Cobra Roll actually, and you can see that here. Ignore the unfinished land in the upper portion of the screen....I left it unfinished for a reason. I just wanted to show you all this angle.

    Posted Image

This is what would be (in real life) an overbanked turnaround. It is situated between the lift and Cobra Roll. It is taken at a really high speed, so it would be quite intense in real life. The pathing you see is the queue line (Its unfinished in some spots).

Well thats all for Speices. I basically outlined the first half of the ride for you, and I wont give away the second half of the ride (which is the best imo). My final thoughts are that this is the best floorless I have made, and I think you all will enjoy it more than Paladin or Curse of the Black Pearl because of what comes with the ride (the landscaping). What do you all think?

    Enjoy.
  • Steve%s's Photo
I think I love your queue line. The way the overbanked turn goes around it is just fantastic.

That last screen shows what I will be looking for more of in this section. That's nice stuff. The coaster's layout looks quite excellent, I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes out in the end, particularily the 2nd half.

This are is actually interesting me now, the previous screens looked quite sloppy but this is starting to show more of what I would expect from you.

    Magnificent.

Simply beautiful, and props to you for actually putting time into a good queue line. You are one of the few parkmakers left that really do it and do it well.
  • Jacko Shanty%s's Photo
That building with the bricks and the cobblestone path is just awesome.

Bah, I guess I need to make these college things since I did one for Tech....

Im got into Syracuse and I got into USC, so good days.

Ill prolly end up stalking Corkscrewed and Ed at USC.

Thx for the comments so far, anymore?

Have you decided where you're going to go yet?

I really like the dramatic changes in the landscaping. Seeing an area of the park on two very different elevations adds a lot more atmosphere, and those screens are a perfect example.

Wonderful park you've got going fatha, and I can't wait to see more.

Here is the best visual of how terrifying this drop would be in real life.  Top of the lift is about 20-30 feet off the top of the cliff, and after that its about 130 feet down into the jungle.

Nice screen shot. Now why don't they make coasters like this in real life eh?
I look forward to seeing this park complete.

Hey guys, I got into ARIZONA and SDSU and HAWAII but I can't AFFORD fucking ANY of them 8@ 8@ 8@ 8@

    Magnifying.

You literally need a microscope to see all the details that just make those screenshots. Beautiful.

Have you decided where you're going to go yet?

    Prolly SC...

Hey guys, I got into ARIZONA and SDSU and HAWAII but I can't AFFORD fucking ANY of them

That blows man.... im sorry :'(

I still prefer Paladin from a jaw-dropping point of view, but I agree that this coaster has far more depth to it. Great job.

Here is the status of the roller coasters....

    - Acancounga: Canyon Runner (B&M Invert) 100%: Been done for a while, and the intensity has been set at what it used to be (9.88). Turnaround was taken out and replaced with a steep dive into a canyon.

    Themed Rides/Water Rides

    - In RCT Speed, Vigilante is the fastest roller coaster in the park (At 60 mph).
    - Acancounga and Vigilante are tied for the tallest roller coaster in the park, standing from top to bottom 25 height markers each. That would translate to about 170 feet in real life imo.

    - El Aire is the tallest attraction in the park, reaching a height marker of 44.

    Update 10

Aviador is almost completed, so I felt that I could show you all a bit of the ride. This is the first of two Aviador updates.... Ill cut to the chase.

    Posted Image

This is the lift hill of the ride, and it stands about 120 feet tall or so (in real life). It is the shortest coaster in the park. I apologize for the incomplete portions.

    Posted Image

This pic shows a back area of the ride, which is themed to a little canal portion of the town. There is one more of these that youll see at a later time.

Well thats all...For those who like my older stuff you should like this....Natural landraised buildings..old school parkmaking. Gimme yallz thoughts....

    Enjoy.
  • Micool%s's Photo
Um...it's alright. Not the typical Fatha' spotlight appeal though. I like the way the track interacts with the architecture but it looks very artificial and messy, nothing like your older work in this style. I find it to be very sloppy in some places.
  • Marshy%s's Photo
I actually really like the screen. I love the interaction with the buildings, and that corner over the path looks...fun. The canal part in the second screen looks interesting, I can imagine the train goes nice and slow round here due to the tight corner. The only thing I'm not sure about are the graveyard items used on the rooves, I'm not too sure about those.

    But still, looks great.
