I wasn't too kean on the city of god area, but this is amazing stuff.
I love the atmosphere in the screens.
Beautiful. -

I'm going to be different but I always am.
I actually prefer the city of god screens more than these new one's, but its all a matter of taste.
1st new screen I actually like I love the contrast of the city of god area next to this nice bright green foliage.
The 2nd screen I just can't get my head around it It looks nice when I first look at it, but the more and more I do look at it I begin to dislike it. it looks cluttered (which I like) but at the same time it looks bare. -

I think tan (dirt) footpath would somehow be more appropriate but maybe I'm wrong.
Nope, you are right. I changed it to dirt and it looks much better. I also noticed that the City of God has brown paths, so two areas with brown paths is a no no. -

Very nice, the details and the atmosphere are great in the screens. the way u mixed different land textures with trees and water makes these screens so unique.
I think, paths need fences on the second screen but maybe I'm wrong. -

Update 7
Well, I did say that I might show Savage Current to you all but it turns out that I havn't come close to finishing it. I am trying to finish every other portion of the Galapagos before I finish Savage Current so I can see how it best fits with the area. Since this update wont have any *NEW* screens, Ill give you a area by area progress update...
Galapagos
Again, I still have a little section of the actual area left to do, but the entire area is still about half unfinished. I need to theme Savage Current and build a couple of more rides in the area.
City of God
Work has stalled here, I am trying to make the City of God blend and mesh with the entrance area, so I am basically working around the City of God itself. The area remains about 1/4 unfinished, so it should be wrapped up sooner than later.
Andes Village
I have given up on the intensity issue with Canyon Runner. The ride is great, previously had an intensity below 10, and if anybody has an issue with its new intensity than thats tough. The ride is great and i wont rebuild it because RCT fucked it over (It did this with Paladin too, which forced me to trim it).
Macchu Picchu
Still planning this area, so no work has been done here.
I still have quite a bit of areas to announce to you all, and I plan to do this once I finished a) City of God.... or Galapagos. I like working on one separate area at a time so I dont mix up styles with each area. Still, the next area I do announce will be one that has never been done in the way it will (youll see), so yall should like it.
Well, here is what I will do for you. For those who did not download the park before and see Acancounga, I'll show you all some of it. One screen has a new portion of the ride, but most of the Andes Village screens is of what you all have already seen. Ive also thrown in two Galapagos area screens as well. This is your Spring Break screen update, so enjoy it.
Well this is a new look that I have for the Galapagos. The foilage is slightly more dense, and the screen itself is a bit more complete than the last version you saw of it.
This is a shot of the area bewteen an UNNANOUNCED area, the City of God, and the Galapagos. The little island with the grey pathing is a lead-in to a bridge that enters the Galapagos area.
Acancounga's Cobra Roll, preceded by a large vertical loop and steep drop into the low canyon area shown in the screens. The elevated pathing is the queue line, the building to the left of the Cobra Roll is Canyon Cafe.
This shows Acancounga's massive first lift hill and huge first drop. The drop itself covers 22 height markers and propels the train to 65 mph. The first inversion is also shown, the wraparound immelman directly after the first drop. The portion of the ride I changed is the turnaround, which is now just a turn and steep dive into the canyon. I did this because RCT screwed the intensity, but in the end it turned out to provide better pacing for the entire ride.
Well, those are two dramatically different area, and hoepfully each screen has something for everyone.
Enjoy. -

That coaster is lovely. Really lovely. And I really like what you're getting with that Galapagos theme. -

When you released the park, I thought it was one of the best inverts anyone has ever made.
I stick by that.
The other screens are beautiful as well. I'm quite eager to see this park and what you've done with it since release.

Screen 1: Nothing special, and not much to say about it either. To be honest, I don't really like it that much.
Screen 2: Quite simple, but for some reason rather eye-catchy. Out of curiousity, what are those dogs doing there?
Screen 3+4: The coaster looks superb, but the theming and architecture is just a little well-well. Nothing we haven't seen before. -

The Galapogos screens are a good, I'll admit to that much.
You used some things I've personally never seen before in that area, and it adds a touch of personality to the area.
The invert area is still kickass. Probably the best invert I've ever seen. -

The dogs represent animals on the beaches of the Galapagos. I would have used dinosaurs, but they are too big and they are also sort of extinct. -

I love that first screen of the galapagos area. The foliage gives it a very lush, dense feel and a great atmosphere. There isn't much actual architecture but it just has a nice simple, yet strangely complex feel to it.
The second screen doesn't do much for you. I feel that the grey path looks very out of place and the foliage seems a bit wierd. There appears to be a clash of themes for me and I just find it horrible
The last two screens are quite incredible. That coaster is one of the best I've seen and I love what you've done with that queue line.

I really don't like that second screen. The gray path with the sand underneath it, and those pink brick-ish fences really just look like crap, imho.
But the rest is really great, and that invert is one of, if not THE, best one I've seen. -

I'm glad your back building and I love your work so much but I'm not so excited about this park at the moment. I think its the galapagos screens that are stopping me from loving it. as I adore the city of god area with the textures and mess and the Invert in Andes Village is just pure silk its gorgeous along with the look of andes village itself.
In the galapagos area I like what your doing with the different amount of textures and foliage but at the same time there's something that looks odd I'm not sure if its just where the screens been taken that makes it look weird to me, as I wonder if this area looks better in the game than out. -

The second screen really isnt a part of the Galapagos area, its just a piece of land that connects areas together. I could probably do a better job of blending it together, but i think its fine (Once you see it in the game maybe youll like it a little better). In the galapagos area I like what your doing with the different amount of textures and foliage but at the same time there's something that looks odd I'm not sure if its just where the screens been taken that makes it look weird to me, as I wonder if this area looks better in the game than out.
I think youll like the Galapagos once you see the entire area, because it really stands out...draws you towards it. I also think the surrounding landscape (which is not completely shown in the screens) makes the area better as well. -

The BIG Spring Break Update (Not Really that Big)
Alright, I have a couple of things to announce, you know a section, a couple or coasters, the usual. First off, the park entrance itself has been completed (Which u will see later in this post), and two new rides have been successfully tested and constructed. Lets gets to the new things shall we??
Colonial Ecuador
This area is themed to the old Spanish towns of Ecuador. They are colonial so they might not look like anything remotely South American in RCT, but it is truly a part of South America. This area is the entrance to the park, its situated near the City of God and houses two attractions (One that I will announce at a later time).
This picture shows the entrance to the park, as well as some of the test colonial theming. This is old style, so if u like my old stuff you should like this. It is a little boring right now, so I might add some things to spice it up.
Here are some new rides to announce to the world....
El Aire
This is a S&S Double Quad tower, much like those seen in The Aegean and Chateau Lake (Minus the hacks). Its situated on a high point in the park, so when riding you can see everything very well (Especially Andes Village).
Species
Take a ride on the most ravenous beast in the Amazon jungle, the creature that every Amazonian fears. Rise above the Cliffs of the Amazon and dive inches above that swampy jungle floor on the 2nd B&M installation Species. This floorless packs 6 inversions (Two loops, Cobra Roll, two corks) and boasts an incredible Cobra Roll that cuts right into the cliff wall (Literally, its almost hidden). Reach speads of 60 mph and hold on for the ride of your life on this state-of-the art thrill machine.
So yeah, I had to make a stupid floorless. You can't have a Fatha' park without one.... Hell, even my Disney park had one. Ill keep the tradition alive. NO MORE SCREENS FOR TWO WEEKS.
Enjoy.
