    Design: John Wardley/B&M
    Type: Dive Machine/Multi-Purpose attraction
    Height: Around 130 feet
    Largest Drop: 175 feet

A couple of things here, John Wardley works for tussauds and is not independent, so the design would be just B&M and maybe Werner Stengel's company, although Sheikra was the first B&M for a Busch Park that wasn't in part designed by it. I'm also interested in what a multi purpose attraction is, but I guess I'll see later. I do like the fact that it will go deep underground though.

    Update 40
Third to last update right here, so things are nearing an end. Aruba was completed today, and it turned out VERY nice. I changed the color schemes on the rooves, and it looks much better. Only drawback is its size, which is very small. Aruba is also the only area in the park with a beach. Basically the only area of the park thats left is the final area, and landscaping has started on it. I still have little unfinished patches in various areas, but all in all everything is meshing well and for the most part each area (minus 1) is done. Of course, I announced the new coaster already, so thats the final ride announcement. The next update after this will just be a compilation of all the screens so far and other little tidbits of news on the final area.

    :'( BREAKING NEWS (Unforunate)

Well, I have some good news and bad news. Bad news comes first.

Ok, RCT appears to have stopped me from building anymore in BGSS. I reached the scenery data limit apparently, and all i can place is 10 more trees. This REALLY pisses me off, because for one I can't actually COMPLETE the park to the level i wanted to, and it effectively cancels the final area of the park (which will now be replaced by water). This affects rides as well (which is a primary theming option for me), as I can't even add another attraction, PERIOD. That being said, i will have each area that IS there completed to the fullest, only drawback is it will have a decently large empty space in the park. I can delete some small foilage in random spots of the park to free up space, because I do have a couple of fairly dense areas (Galapagos, Jungle area, and some other treeing spots). I didnt think it was possible that this would happen, but it did, so know ill deal with it.

    Good news?

Well, since I WONT have to build a final area, BGSS is in fact nearly done. Probably around 96-97% without the final area.

    :'( Im sorry u all.

Meh, that don't matter. From the screens you have shown so far it looks better than most of the other spotlights. I didn't think LL had a scenery limit, or if it did it was so massive that it was near impossible to reach. The fact you have filled up the scenery limit actually is a good thing, it guarentees i will spends loads of time looking at those little details you've put in! Can't wait to see it.

Well, I guess I know now what would have happened if I ever got around to making a full park after H2H2. I think there's a chance though that you're the first one to hit the hard scenery limit in LL, so that's something to be proud of I guess. :) It's really too bad that you would come all this way and then not be able to finish it properly though. It'll still be a great park, but it's really too bad.

Oh, and I guess this means the 20 days estimation gets cut down some, right? ;)
  • Fatha'%s's Photo
Ed, like seriously its so dissapointaning. The park still does fine without the final area though, the only downside (that would be noticeable) is that some areas will look a bit bare (especially Savage Current, because I cant afford to theme it heavily anymore).

20 days is still the estimae tho Ed, because things have been complicated even tho I Dont have to build an area....I actually have to count scenery pieces now....gah.
  • Loopy%s's Photo
That sucks. Youve got an achievment though, the first person to hit the scneary limit in LL. I didnt know that existed in LL, i thought it was only in RCT2 oh well.

Cant wait to see this park even if there is an area missing.
  • tracidEdge%s's Photo
couldn't you do what butter did, and release a minipark with that last area? it would be a little awkward, yeah, but then it would still technically be done.

No, because it would not be a "part" of the park. It would be like a hotel map, not having any "real" attachment to the park itself.

BGSS still has 8 areas, so its not like its short on themes.
  • Phatage%s's Photo
Can't you fill it up with something other than just water, say maybe a catering ground which wouldn't use much scenery or parking or something? I just hate when water is used as filler rather than scenery.
  • X250%s's Photo
The parking lot idea seems good to me, will make it look more like a park and less like an island. Or you could make a crude looking golf course? The possibilities are endless!

  • Fatha'%s's Photo
I cant use parking lots. Pathing takes up scenery space, and portions of the park are still unfinished (especially Andes VIllage and Savage Current).
  • Micool%s's Photo
Sorry dude. That sucks. I hate to say it, but I'm pretty excited. Finally a reason to re-install LL.
  • Turtle%s's Photo
    That's a pity, indeed.

I've never had this before, I can imagine it's hard when your ideas are dashed by something over which you have no control...

Hope you finish it to your liking.

agreed. i never knew it existed in rctll.
can you make a screen of the error message, fatha'? :D

the only thing i can think of is to talk to some people who can do winhack. i know that it's possible to melt two rides into each other so that rct counts the two as one.
it's very unhealthy to the game though and bears a few sv4 damaging risks, if i remember correctly. talk to adix, wme or midnight aurora if you're interested.

as for the "how to fill blank space" question.
i'd do the black-out method from rct2. i did it in my dragonslayer design and copied it from corkscrew.
you sink the land to zero, give it the rock texture and fill it with black path. i find it quite convincing.
just an option you might want to consider.
because thruthfully, water would be awful.

    Scenery limit or sprite limit?

Cuz I've heard of people hitting the sprite limit before by basically putting too much stuff in.

Told ya you should have spread it out. :p :p
  • mantis%s's Photo
^ but that's exactly the appeal of this park - layered, close-proximity areas all brimming with details to be discovered. Sure it's nice to be handed RCT genius on a plate once in a while, but Fatha's making us work for our pleasure and I think that can only be a good thing.
Bad luck, Fatha'. This park will still stand as an immense achievement, regardless of how you fill the space. I don't mind water, really, especially seeing as you have a reason for putting it there.
  • Ride6%s's Photo
I'm with Mantis on this one. Water is all fine and good, if it doesn't take up sceanery space. Not to mention that I LOVE coastlines/beaches/boardwalks, etc. So this could make for something really pretty.

Though I must admit that I too am sad and slightly fusterated about this.

  • Fatha'%s's Photo
Once again, I CANNOT put path down anymore, because it takes up space. The error message is a data message, i dont know if thats the same thing as a sprite limit. It says "Can't place object here, map data full"
