AMAZING

the only thing that bothers me is the missing barrels...
• Fatha'%s's Photo

interesting, you're missing a couple of barrels though =P. Or is it supposed to look like it'll collapse any second? Very nice stuff, if you want me to hack that barrel in just ask (as i'm noticing a lot of stuff 'on top' which does make it very hard with the beast trainer haha)

Nope, barrels are meant to be like that....like mantis said....ramshackle.

The detail here is incredible. I don't know if I'd even have the patience to do all that stacking, if you mess one thing up you gotta do it all again.

These screens are my new inspiration.

Btw, do you have any idea what the coaster limit is in RCT?
You must be using a lot of coasters with these 2 areas and maybe more.

Stacking isn't that bad once you get the hang of it....each building probably takes 30 minutes (so yes you do have to be patient). As for the coaster limit, its 256 (well that is the attraction limit). So far I have 156 attractions, so that leaves 100 left. It'll be close in the end, probably 250+ attractions. El Dorado didn't use many and Andes village doesn't use hardly any. Amazonia will use about 20 or so. The big attraction problems will be new areas that use coaster station as theming...such as City of God (Uses like 60 attractions).

Definite no no in a real park, or a real park created in RCT, but this seems to be more symbolistic of the real world areas than a theme park. Hard to explain, but the real world accuracy has taken precedence over the theme park accuracy. It's a different approach to building in RCT.

Posix, this would precisely be my response to the 'no foilage on paths' thing. This park is meant to be South America, not a South American themed park.

Thx for the replies so far.
• Corkscrewed%s's Photo
No, actually, the attractions limit IS 255, Fatha, in case you're calculating that far ahead. The game works all on binary, and the limit of that = 255 slots.
• Scorchio%s's Photo
I'm not seeing any flaws - although I could if I stared at the screen long enough, risking a large headache.

Stop with the screens, and just finish and release the thing. This has gone beyond teasing now. :D
• Evil WME%s's Photo
I doubt you'll need one attraction more. You can always take eldorado scenery and place it all around the park, and just color it differently. Heck, you'd probably need like 6 rides for all that scenery. And if just stations are a problem for you i can hack those too, making as many stations for one ride scenery as you like ;). No excuses .
• Ride6%s's Photo
If you'd change some of those long cabin bits to the "wooden" stations they would stand out better. Just an idea, since I like complaining and trying to be helpful. Personally i think this looks to be quite possibly the best jungle area in either game, but only possibly, we'll have to wait and see.

Nice to see this is still progressing quickly.

Im not worrying much about attractions right now....If I get to the last area and have less than 20 to work with, then i will worry.

Stop with the screens, and just finish and release the thing. This has gone beyond teasing now

You will see two more screens.

It's good to see how this park is coming along very nicely.
I cant wait for the next update
...and I sure as hell can't wait for the release!
• GigaForce%s's Photo
Sounds good. So like... our remaining two screens... what are they gonna be of? I think i'd be pretty sweet to have a few areas completely undercover... for surprises sake.
• Fatha'%s's Photo
You all will actually get to choose which area you want to see (leaving one undercover).
• GigaForce%s's Photo
Cool.

Maybe even do 2 of the same area, to leave 2 hidden?

As much as I'd like to see them, I love the surprises.

When BOVT was released, that was a great surprise, because nobody knew it was coming (aside from the people who tested/talked to him about it, which is few I'd believe)
• Fatha'%s's Photo
Well, I am a big advertiser. Always was and always will be.

Don't worry about being surprised, you'll see enough surprises when the park gets finished. Meanwhile.....

Update 23 - 3 New Flatrides Announced

Roda de Vagão: A ferris wheel attraction. It is themed to be a wheel that collects water for the village (name means Wagon Wheel in Portuguese).

Sacrificio: A new-generation Frog Hopper produced by S&S. This one actually looks the closest you can get to a frog hopper in RCT. Its themed to a tiki pole dedicated to the gods, upon which sacrifices are places and lifted to the heavens.

Rotação: A Enterpise flat ride attraction themed to a new thrill machine created by the villagers. Take a spin on it.

NOTE: The names in this area, like City of God, will be mostly Portuguese in origin. Both the City of God and Amazonia are set in Brazil.

Enjoy.

I like it, a lot. It doesn't have the massiveness of some of the previous screens, which is a very good thing. You've definitely created what I think you were trying to do.

Yeah Jem is right but i think you do need to take that into account as this is meant to be a real park busch gardens. But then again the foliage like that really adds to the theme and atmosphere of the area.

Awesome screen btw.

Cool. I LOVE how portuguese sounds..

Update 24 (FINAL Amazonia Update) - Amazonia Attraction List

Amazonia Stats
Theme: Amazon Jungle Village
Time Constructed: 12 RCT years (20 days)
Elevation: Landmarker 1 (Sea level)
Attractions: 7
Shops: 3
Size: 2nd smallest

Attractions

Bacillus (B&M): The legend tells of a creature hidden in the deep jungle that moves in and out of the god's temples. Villagers have told us that it is insect-like and devours any that come near it. In fear of it, the villagers have never dared to expand their community into its reaches. In order to go in search of it, one must cross a bridge and enter its damned lands. Well now it has found you, and now you must endure its wrath. Watch your step as you hop aboard one of the most intense floorless coasters ever created. Reach speeds of 60 mph after dropping straight off a cliff and dive through six inversions while barely missing the dense foilage and the creature itself. At 4,500 feet long and 140 feet tall, this ride is a monster waiting to devour all who challenge.
Chãos sagrados: Make your offerings to the gods of Amazonia in this holy area. Bow to the idols placed in the center of a circular construction adored by the villagers of Amazonia.
Xícaras Café: Take a ride on the bins that collect coco beans and grind them in the mill. Whirl around on this crazy contraption built by the people who brought you the popular thrill ride 'Himalayas.'
O Descida: Ascend to the heavens on this 120 foot Drop attraction, only to plung back down into the dense jungles of Amazonia.

Shops and Eateries

O Meio de Selva: Translated "The Jungle Way," here you can buy many cloths and jewelry created by the villagers of Amazonia.
O Grande Festa: Translated "The Great Feast," here you can dine on any type of jungle wildlife and vegetation you desire.
Encontros Tribais: Translated 'Tribal Encounters," here you can by all of the leatherworks produced by the tribal leaders.

Now that Amazonia is finished, the next update you will see will be the announcement of the final three areas of BGSS. In addition you will also hear the new annoucnement regarding the re-construction of the Galapagos area. After and only after all four are PARTIALLY or FULLY completed will I inquire about which of the four you would like to see screenshots of. Only three more screens will be released, and two will remain hidden (in terms of screenshots) until the final release is downloaded. So basically, you won't see screens for a month or so.

Enjoy.

True, 11111111 in binary is equal to 255 in decimal, but the game reads from 00000000 to 11111111, or 0-255. So there are really 256 slots. At least I'm assuming that's true, because 00 does represent a lot of things in WinHack, as does FF (=255 in hexidecimal). But, still, 1 ride wont make much of a difference, as WME said.
• GigaForce%s's Photo
Im excited for the next update with the new area annoucements!

Amazonia sounds sweet.
