Wow. It looks great. Spotlight, for sure. Keep it up. I just hope you aren't giving it all away...=/

This is without a doubt the best LL park in construction.

I'm confused though. In the latest screen in the top left there is the castle wall with 4 windows then below those windows you seem to have rapids track built into the walls. I've attempted similar things and as far as I know you can only do this with 2 land blocks being shown by using a chairlift but you just have one showing, my question to you is how? Unless it's some kind of illusion and it hasn't actually been done....hmm..
If you dont understand anything I just said contact me on AIM and i'll try and describe it better.

Yeh...you the man. This is the shiznitz!

New screen looks great but I think you're starting to over advertise a bit.

Not really I dont think. I havn't shown you the best parts of El Dorado imo (That is my opinion however). After this, expect about 5 more screens total (maybe less).

Very, Very nice. The only thing im not sure I like is the roman walls...i just dont know if they fit the theme, and i remember you saying you'd get rid of some of the Roman stuff on your final sweep. Maybe the egyptian walls would go better there...Im not sure

Nazca looks awesome though.

I'm so in love with how you've stacked those egyptian blocks... it just makes the area so much more complete.

Yeah forgot about your question, sorry.
I didn't hack anything, the rapids are just built underground and happen to show. Just a lucky glitch provided by the game.

Update 22 - Amazonia

Enough of El Dorado already eh? Well, heres something that is, frankly, totally the opposite of what you all have seen for the past week or so. Beauty, golden, boldness, and grandeur are all thrown out the window in this update. First off, let me tell you a bit about this area. I announced it as Amazonia, and the premise is simple....It is a 3rd world village set in the Amazon jungle...home to many mysterious things (Including the deadly Bacillus, which you all have already seen a lot of). With that said, let me tell you all a bit about how I went about making this...

First off, I wanted it to look ugly...but decently beautiful at the same time. When I did the jungle theme in the Disney park, it looked to lovely. It didn't look gritty enough. I wanted to do a city of god (but using more wooden objects instead of castle walls and rustic walls) in a jungle so to speak, but again not really. I figured that I wanted flat roofing with the occasional sloped here and there, and I wanted dense foilage. I also wanted raised decks that looked old and weak, surrounded by red flowers and dense jungle foilage. Tree selection was simple...I wanted dark trees (Which included all of the jungle trees and a couple of tropical trees). Next on my list was the Ed-invented building your pathways through the foilage to make it seem natural (IE Erwindale Forest, same method I used in the Disney jungle area). With all of that said, most people probably won't like this as much as El Dorado. This was far harder to do and took more thought. You will not see anymore screens of this area, because it is fairly small. Bacillus is located in this area, so you have seen plenty of it already. Unfortunately, you all won't see modifications and revisions I make with the theme, but that'll be a surprise for you all (If i revise it THAT much). With all that said, I present you your only screen of Amazonia.

NOTE: I treed some areas to fill the screen. Parts of the jungle you see will actually be buildings/attractions in the future.

Enjoy, and well see a nice long break from screenshots.

It's nice. Not as interesting as El Dorado but still nice.

interesting, you're missing a couple of barrels though =P. Or is it supposed to look like it'll collapse any second? Very nice stuff, if you want me to hack that barrel in just ask (as i'm noticing a lot of stuff 'on top' which does make it very hard with the beast trainer haha)
• Metropole%s's Photo
I actually really like it. Not to the extend of the previous few screens, but I feel it has captured how you described it above. One thing I'm not keen on is that dark Chinese tree you get in the Pagoda Tab. I don't think it quite fits.

Great work.

It looks awesome, Grinch. I reckon those 'missing' barrels are just glitches? And even if they're not it does look cool and ramshackle. I love the word ramshackle!

The detail here is incredible. I don't know if I'd even have the patience to do all that stacking, if you mess one thing up you gotta do it all again.

These screens are my new inspiration.

Btw, do you have any idea what the coaster limit is in RCT?
You must be using a lot of coasters with these 2 areas and maybe more.
• mantis%s's Photo
it's 255 isn't it? As long as you use the same coaster for all the scenery of that type you should be ok...it's the banners that'd be more of a problem :(
• x-sector%s's Photo
incredible. I think you have achieved everything you wanted to.

I personally like this area more that El Dorado

foliage on paths, nono.
• mantis%s's Photo
Wha? I really like that effect!
• inVersed%s's Photo
I liked El Dorado better. But as far as Jungle themes go this is probably one of the best I've seen in LL. I still like this a lot. You really disguised the exit of the Enterprise nicely, still cant see it, which is a good thing. Great work as always, Fatha

Oh and I personally like the foliage on the paths

Excellent Job

foliage on paths, nono.

Definite no no in a real park, or a real park created in RCT, but this seems to be more symbolistic of the real world areas than a theme park. Hard to explain, but the real world accuracy has taken precedence over the theme park accuracy. It's a different approach to building in RCT.

I like it, a lot. It doesn't have the massiveness of some of the previous screens, which is a very good thing. You've definitely created what I think you were trying to do.
• GigaForce%s's Photo
I think it looks really nice.

Great use of fences and track to create the real jungle effect

I kinda like the foliage on the paths...it gives it a 'wild' or 'overgrown' feel that you really get in the Amazon.
