I have chosen to deviate from the screens thread in the RCT Forum for many reasons, one of them being that this is an actual park project.
For the next couple days/weeks, (however long it takes) my computer will forever be stuck at 2:16 PM. I am going out on a limb and attempting to finish this entire map. I want to see what I can do. I'm building it around a ravine woody.
Here's screens, expect more frequently.

There will be 3 videos once this is finished. One will be an on-ride POV for what is tenatively named "Thunderfuck," one will be cutscenes from off the ride, and one will be a fly-through of the park demonstrating the architecture.
Peace!
(and yes i know i can never save this, but can't it always be remembered?) -

OK Lucy.....'splain.
How do you get your computer to "freeze" at 2:16 p.m.
Since I never turn my machine off, I could actually build something in this damn demo and have enough time to do something actually worthwhile..
so...how do you do that with the time thingy.... -

IM me 'trix and I'll hook you up.
Fatha: Theming? Surely you jest- have you played the demo? Not to mention that it's a terrain woody... -

When i opened that first pic, I almost jumped out of my chair. This looks incredible, and that has to be the best layout I've ever seen. -

Although the first pic has nothing more than a woody and trees it looks amazing! Some of you seem to do this game justice. I just hope everyone else can see what's so great about this sequel! I'm really liking what I see!
Keep at it. -

If it's called "Footloose," it better have a floorless or inverted coaster.
That's not my joke, btw.
Woodie looks excellent, I have no complaints. The only thing I might suggest is to stick an inclined turn in the place of one of those flat turnarounds. After the coaster passes over the lift on the fourth hill could be a possible place to fiddle around with a twisting drop or something. -

Please, please, keep it named Thunderfuck. I love it.
That second screen is what gets me, it really gives a wonderful sense of perspective. This looks like a great project, i'm genuinely excited about RCT3 now. Beautiful. -

This isn't often the case, but I think you've advertised too many of the rides here. I'd really like to see some more great architecture, as is in the last screen. It looks good though; shame it will never be completed. -

It looks amazing, as expected. The only reason he's showing lots of screens is because it'll never get released. I can't wait to see someone recreate real parks... -
sacoasterfreak Offline
Panoramical, I'm going to try to finish it, and by that, I mean to complete the map.
Turtle is exactly right, I'm posting as many screens as I can, because you guys will never be able to open the park for yourselves. This is mainly a concentrated practice exercise. I did post more screens of the architecture in the second batch, and most of the rest that I do will be nothing but architecture. -

The woodie looks fantastic, I love how you draw inspiration from real life coasters, this time seemingly Texas Giant mixed with some Thunderhead. The theme is perfect; its something that would be built in real life, not what most people do on this site which is make the ride go around 50 "themed" buildings and call it theming. I could see places where the wooden structure could be reinforced by slants but I haven't really played the demo and don't know whether that is an option or not. The terrain and landscaping is beautiful, it really reminds me of an old Pennsylvania park, the best out there. The observation thing is ingenious, and the architecture is solid and fits the atmoshpere, although I think that the station could stand out a little more and have more character. One thing I don't like is the queue line, I think that it should sort of resemble the coaster in a way and stay to the ground, being like a "terrain queue line" with some mild foliage around it. I hope you just tree the other side of the long path parallel with the station that leads to the observation deck or have very minimal ride/buildings there (maybe just a restroom?) so the woodsy feel is heightened, and I think it would be especially cool to be walking along that long path in the woods to emerge on that observation deck. The perspective of this game is perfect for your style, for you always build for the peep that would be in this park, not the viewer from atop, and we can now be a peep in the park with the 3d graphic system. Great job as always, seems like you'll now have a hand in setting the trends for all three games. -

It looks nice, really it does. I am of the personal opinion, however, that somewhat more "realistic" () architecture would be increasingly attractive from a more realistic viewpoint. To me what you've got going looks like RCT2 architecture. I do like how you've left most of the queue open though...it's very quaint and not plain at all. -

I havn't played the demo, but I could assume that it is possible to build buildings around a coaster (well not necesarilly buildings, but theming object). Im just suggesting that the ride would look more itneresting with some theming touches, that is all. -
Turtle Offline
The theming objects they give you with the demo aren't anything special, believe me, they'd add nothing to this coaster...
