Wow, some nice editing there! What'd you use? Windows Movie Maker, or Premiere, or something else?I made a 20 second video of a coaster i made. i took the theme from doom3 for the music. it was the easiest to get at the time.
its a 1mb video.

Thanks. i had to use both. Premiere doesn’t import wmv's. conveniently the format rct3 videos are in. so had to convert them to mpg's in windows movie maker. i put the mpg into premiere. Premiere doesnt like mpg's much, i have to render it to see it clearly in the preiview window otherwise its all choppy. i had to export it all to avi's and then import the avi's back into premiere. cut it all. got the music. cut all of that. put it in place. exported it. Premiere only exports to avi's(which is fine except it was 44mb ) i had to import the avi into windows movie maker and export it into the low quality 1mb wmv.

Good job. You may know how to make it look nice but you don't know how to export stuff out of premiere if it came out at 44mb. Also what version of Premiere are you using? -

im using premiere 6. i never experimented with all of the export settings. all i did was put the quality on 80%. -

Well I still can't get the time freeze thing to work anymore (it worked once, and now...nada) so I don't have anything more to show than a few shots of a building. As soon as I finished taking screens, the damn game kicked me out.
I think I'm just gonna wait for the actual game, as building like this really isn't much fun when you've got the clock working against you.
Anywho, enjoy the shots of the building, and comments about my coaster would be nice too. I managed to get an on ride of that, so if anyone knows where I can upload a 62 mb file, I could share that too.
OK, enough of my babbling.....here are the screens
Cheers,

'trix, you can do the time thing manually.
after you initially open the game, set your windows clock 5 minutes forwards.
then you can set the clock back to that time at any time during the demo before the time is up. when it says "sorry, times up!" i've actually been able to alt tab, hit the time trick, and keep playing.
edit: just saw the screens. holy fuckin' wow! looks very very nice!!! -

Thanks for the compliments. As for the time thing. When I do that, it kicks me out of the game.
It worked the first time I tried it, and I'm sure it's cause the demo is so glitchy, but now, when I click apply to change the time, I alt-tab back to the game and find that I've been kicked back to the main menu. Strange.
Oh well, according to my pre-order from EB, I'll be able to pick up the game on the 26th of this month. So, no worries. -

All the screens are fabulous Trix, but that 62mb worries me about this game....if anyone knows where I can upload a 62 mb file, I could share that too.

Actually Ann,
If you go to the EB website, and pre-order it, it tells you there that it is available for pick-up on that day.
The EB I got it from is here in SF, at the Stonestown Galleria.
The 62mb file is an on ride wmv file, so I am thinking that it is larger than a game file. I sure hope so, or we will have HUGE issues (specifically I will) when Disney's Phantasea Kingdom is done and I want to show it (Phantasia anyone?). That said, I think before I launch into that park, I am going to re-start and finish that park Twilight Shores that I started after Tilted Acres. That seems to fit the current scenery options available with this game, moreso than a Disney park. -

Wait... WMM can export to MPEGS??? Hmph... that's odd that I never figured that out. *embarrassed smilie*im using premiere 6. i never experimented with all of the export settings. all i did was put the quality on 80%.
I'll try that, because I love Premiere so much more.
Also, as a rule of thumb, never compress anything until your final product, or the loss of quality really adds up.
Also, Trix's 66 meg file is definitely a video file. There's absolutely no reason for a map to be that huge.
Remember that RCT 2's huge park files are only because of the extra scenery. Don't export scenery and the maps are the same file sizes as RCT 1 parks. So RCT 3 shouldn't be much more of a difference. -

no it doesnt but you can rename wmv into mpg and itll still work. i just do that first to get my 8 diffrent clips into one video file so i only have to the import and export stuff once and not 8 times for 8 clips. im just being lazy :scarface:Wait... WMM can export to MPEGS??? Hmph... that's odd that I never figured that out. *embarrassed smilie*
