Custom Scenery Exchange / Extended/Fake Paths

As you may of noticed, i haven't been around for around a month now. First of all my holiday took 2 weeks from August 21st to September and since then i haven't been working on objects at all. I feel unmotivated and uninspired to do any more RCT 2 work. My time as object designer is nearing its end and most likely will end sometime in the near future.

For now i'm releasing these 3 extended/fake paths which were made due to an idea at NewElement. As the description states:

"These paths can be placed in a special way to create the illusion of a wide path, but peeps only walk on a defined section of it."

In other words you can make a 5 wide path, but peeps will only walk on the middle 2 wide area of path. This is done simply by addinga fence in between the two sections of path, much in the same way as you would do if you wanted to create a food court. Heres a screen showing the extended paths in action with normal paths showing as well.

Great idea (Panic I think) and great execution Tom. I think I may be using these as much as Toons wonderful scenery.

would'int it be EZ'er to just make custom benchs and lamps?

I think the point of it was to make it so that the peeps don't go running all over into places they don't need to be in. RCT2 has improved AI, but even so, it's not THAT great.

This is cool. Now the paths can flush right up against a structure. No more dirt/whatever in between.

Well, I've always liked that bit of a gap between buildings and path. Without it, IMO the path just looks to run up right into the buildings and clash with their colors and textures. It's kind of like sticking a house's front door directly vertically above the edge of a street - I think that space is necessary.

Don't mean to dismiss the concept of fake paths though, one I've long been loyal to.
