Congratulations to both JKay and Phatage who have advanced to the Elite 8. Looking back when JKay replaced the original 1 seed Foozy, people said he shouldn't be, but he has proven himself by being the ONLY one seed to make it to the elite 8! He meets up with the 2 seed Phatage in the tournament's only 1 vs. 2 match-up, which should be one hell of a North Bracket Finals. Great job to both supertrooper and Scarface, who didn't forfeit once and both gave us great entries every week. Thanks guys! -

JKay... dayam, what the hell? That was like, epileptic. But it was also pretty cool. The coaster itself was nice, except for those two c...r...a...w...l...i...n...g hills... Still, this was pretty impressive stuff. It's hectic and mixed up, but for some reason, it seems to work. I don't love it, but I can admire it. It's not my preferred style, but it works, so kudos to you.
Scarface, a lot less than what I was expecting just in general. It's an interesting alienish theme, but the coaster was just too short for what's expected at this point in a tourney like this. It was basically Oblivion plus a drop, and Oblivion is pretty small. It wasn't bad, just not good enough against JKay's work.
supertrooper... LMAO! I love the whole spoof on the South, with Baptism Falls, the KKK, and the Bible Belt. Great creativity here, and while it wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing thing ever, it definitely worked. I enjoyed this one a lot, so kudos to you for a very creative display!
Phatage is missing a piece of scenery. -

Jkay-Holy shit. This had the wow factor down to a tee. An excellent entry. You still need to work on your coaster designs though. Some awkward bits. But damn, this was impressive and must have taken an age to make.
Scarface-I wasn't fond of this at all. I found the architecture very uninspiring, the landscaping poor, and the coaster layouts pretty dull. After the second vertical drop, there was a horrible sharp hill which the train went over at incredible speed which would probably have killed any rides. The entry just generally didn't work for me
Supertrooper-Haha. Excellent entry. Loved the serpent, the gay bar and all the nifty ideas that you fit in there. As corky said, not the most aesthetically pleasing entry, but an absolute joy to look at.
Phatage-I also had missing scenery -

JKay's entry was the best entry in my opinion i have seen so far in this competition. The detail and complexity of the architecture is amazing! You have an amazing vision for park-making and this is the best example i have ever seen of it, how much free time do you have?! I honestly do not know how you whipped that thing up in time...
I wanna see Phatages entry!- missing 'clogs.DAT' or sumpfink.

I'll get to looking at the others soon, I really can't wait to see what JKay and Supertrooper have made this round. -

Phatage, I loved your recreation.
People should make recs more often I think. They are so much fun to look at, especially if you've been to the park.
It was about as accurate as it gets. The supports were fantastic, the tower/dome thing look exactly like the real one and overall it was just a fun ride to look at. Awesome job. -

Jkay - Wow. This was impressive. Definately a lot of time put in it. The coaster design wasn't the best, but the rest made up for it. My favorite one so far. Great job.
Scarface - Poor entry as you said. Everything just wasn't up to par with your usual work.
Supertrooper - Amusing entry. I enjoyed viewing it. I liked it, just not as much as Jkay's and Phatage's.
Phatage - Wow. Wonderful recreation. Although I haven't been on the ride, going from pictures, everything looks incredibly accurate. My 2nd favorite. -

Red Planet by Scarface - I wasnt really into this entry. The coaster seemed awfully short, which ended up meaning the theming was minimal. Some of the bldgs were cool, like the station, as well as some of the colors, but not really anything that kept my interest.
Holy Roller by supertrooper - Humoursly creative. I loved the abortionist explosion upon opening the park. LOL. My favorite area was Serpent Worshipin'. You have a real knack for using 1/4 tile stuff to make things I never thought were possible in RCT2. The rest of the theming in this park was also top notch. Very solid entry trooper, its too bad it wasn't enough to pull you through to the next round.
The Chiller by Phatage - Unfortunately, I still could not open your park. Your updated download gave me invalid archive.
As for my entry, I wasnt sure what people would make of it. Its really something that I invested a lot of time in, but never really had a solid game-plan from the start. It looks like most people enjoyed it which makes me happy that my work payed off. To answer your question X250: I don't really play RCT more than 2-3 hours per day, but I can build lightning fast if get on a roll. I'm really looking forward to facing off with Phatage. Big thanks to iris for making this such a fun contest to participate in. -

Jkay - A really neat entry, you sure do have some skill when it comes to building big stuff like in this entry. It was really neat, a very crazy kinda look too, good luck vs Phatage.
ST - lmao, one of the funnirest things I have ever seen ib RCT, just it all seemed kinda simple, not much to it, tho the ideas and story were really good, sorry to see you go, it would have been fun to see another entry from you.
Phatage - Great rec. no dubt about that, but all you really needed to do is look at pics, if I had to judge it would have been a really hard pick for me between you and ST. Great job still.
Scarface, i'll edit yours on here as soon as I get a look. -

I believe there's a lot more to making a good recreation than just looking at pictures and copying, so don't say things like that, because even though I haven't looked at the entry yet, it seems Phatage put down a lot of research, time and skill into it.Phatage - Great rec. no dubt about that, but all you really needed to do is look at pics, if I had to judge it would have been a really hard pick for me between you and ST. Great job still.
So, comments on the parks.
Supertrooper - Very nice entry, I really enjoyed it. It was a bit similar to Jacko's entry with the humour and the well-themed ride with lots of different stuff to look at. I love your use of 1/4 blocks, and the architecture reminded me of Phatage's. Really fun to look at, but as Corky and Metro said, not the most good-looking. I doubt that was your goal though, so nice entry.
JKay - I really like those map sides, they make it look really cool. Nice use of colour and mostly good and fun architecture, not very many random objects that stick out horribly were used here, that's something I dislike about your other work. One thing I did dislike about this is how square the layout was, all the areas was very rectangle-shaped and the whole thing was a square, and that clashed with the theming which was more sort of flowing.
Phatage - Because I have never seen the real ride, I looked on a few photos at rcdb.com, and it looks really accurate! Maybe the Batman logo was too large though, I'm not sure?
It does look rather ugly in RCT, but as it is a recreation, I don't care. However, I think I liked the tree outside the ride more than the ride itself Great tree!
Scarface - Meh, pretty boring. None of the colours and textures really worked together, and the coaster was pretty pointless... Good that you entered, anyway, even if it wasn't your best work by far.
I vote for Phatage's entry.
