thanks guys for the great comments, it's time now for the latest update:

The screen is from the land near Rhun the sea, a place where easterlings live. In this very first screen from this place, you can see "the ME Express" train, and underground shopping mall hidden inside the forest:

I'm not sure I like the Dol Guldur screen...it looks way too bare (of course it's probably unfinished...right?). I also think the supports for the scenery look too flimsy and make the entire structure look topheavy (right side of the screen). My thoughts are to keep playing with that.

The second screen, however, I think looks very nicely done. I really don't see anything there that should change a bit. Keep up the awesome work!

wow.... still look forward to seeing the finished project, it looks very nice :).

I think i found something like two pieces of scenery that was not custom made.

Man thats alot of custom scenery.

As for the park i think you have the potential to build some pretty amazing stuff and i can see from this park you can recreate things superbly, i just can't get used to this park, it's the weird custom objects.

Wow. I really love that Rhun screen. It's absolutely beautiful. Don't change a thing.

One point though? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the soldiers of Rhun aren't those that control the Mumakil are they? Isn't that the Haradrim that come from Harad?

    The first screen seems bare...

But still loving the LOTR atmosphere!

There's some crazy creativity goin' on in this park. I love it. Please finish. The screens look good, but I cant really comment on the accuracy, as I am LOTR-illiterate.

Thanks everyone for the comments. It's only 30% completed, currently am working on Easterlings area and Rhun sea, there will be more screens to come soon.

*yes, the first screen is not quite finished, but since I haven't posted an update for a while, it was good to show my progress.

*Metropole - yes, you are right, Mumakils (giant-like elephants) are under Harad's control in the south-east ME and were never seen again after the war of the ring, but the small elephants and mammoths existed in east and south middle earth.

here is the screen from the main transport station ( the ME express train and the chairlift) from/to Easterlings area and the Sand worm coaster. Since easterlings are coming from the east of middle earth, the architecture has that ancient eastern style. This is a land of contrasts, deserts, the Rhun sea, ancient creatures, sand worms, evil men and big forests near the rivers.

Jkay - "but I'm really not liking the bits of tiele blue in there" - totaly understand this, but in this case fountains are made of stone and water, and in the middle there is a fire, since this men were worshipping Sauron, they were able to bewitch things and create "magical" things. It is a fantasy world after all, ancient egyptians were using the blue color in a simiral manner.

Evil WME - thanks man :) , there is still lot to do, but am getting there.

Scorchio - agree about that path, and am quite happy with the new version :)

That screen is beautiful. Although I'm not in agreeance with some of the colors (the peach mainly and over-use of gold), it's a gorgeous setting you've created there. I now totally agree with WME. You're obviously building this with pure fantastical imagination, which is very commendable. Although I'm glad you're sharing it with us, I can tell you're building to capture a personal theme you've pictured in your head, and not just something you think NE would like. Great stuff. Some people could really learn from this.

ok the color choice is determined from these few things:

gold - these man were greedy and gold meant power

peach, brown is based on the land color materials, since the sorounding mountains were mostly sandy/peach color

blue - represents the water, a source of life

    still impressing me :).

I love it. Maybe spend more time on your foilage though, especially the placement. It kinda lets the screen down.

That is beautiful. It reminds me of the hanging gardens of Babylon, mixed with scenes from the original Prince of Persia.

That is a pretty good screen. I dont really like the colours to the right but this is a great example of good use of custom scenery.

it's positively absurd... and I absolutely love it.

    Thanks for the great feedback,

some people didn't like the colors, but am afraid that the RCT pallete is quite limited and this is the closest I can get to represent the Easterlings area. Since the park is quite massive and it represents many different areas, am sure I wil not be able to make everyone happy 100%, but once you see the whole park, it will make more sense. I am planning to create an interactive map in Flash of the ME :)

Here is another update, this time no architecture, just plain landscaping and some of the rides

the sea Rhun, the sand worm coaster and the "under the deep sea" submarine ride

and the second screen is from The Hill of Hearing that was the twin of Amon Hen
