(Archive) Advertising District / Argonath - Middle Earth

I haven't noticed this park til now. It is so different to other parks being advertised and the architecture looks fantastic. Good use of detail on the architecture, especially in that last screen. Well done.

I dont like the screen with the grey towers..they don't look rct though.

I love this. Especially the abstract towery things at the top. This screen really gives a foreboding feel. Which is a good thing.

A little messy, but yes, simply stunning.

finally got some free time and here are some new screens from Middle Earth, as usual comments are welcome.

1. Dol Guldur - the great tower (all paths on this screen will be replaced with the invisible path)


2. Dol Guldur - the dungeons of Dol Guldur and orks stronghold (this area is quite active with flat rides, fire, explosions, looks much better inside the game)



3. Argonath - entrance, king stones

I love it.

Can't get much closer to LOTR atmosphere than this.

Great park you have there, makonix. The detail you put in every bit of archy is very nice. The dungeon looks very good.

some weeks ago when you started this project I thought, that this isn't a nice looking park.
But now every screen is better than that before. The fantasy athmosphere is great!

yes the old screens didnt convince me but the new ones do
especially the first one.

i think you should make the land on the third one steeper
(excuse me, i cant express myself any better in english atm )

I adore that second screen. I simply must have them spikes in my scenery selection, they are fantastic and i can think of so many uses for them... Are they included in the Argonath bench? Anyway, these screens are my favourite so far. When i look at these screens, LOTR instantly comes to mind- so well done!

This is the best LOTR inspired park to date. It may all just be custom scenary but you do use it so well. None of it looks forced which is surprising since alot of the time, custom scenary doesnt fit the Rct style. Well done. Im definatly downloading this when its all done.

...wow. I must admit, when I saw the first screen months ago, I figured it was just another delirious madman trying to make a Middle Earth park. I've never seen one pulled off successfuly, but your park is really changing my mind about that. I love the Lorien pic, I always wondered how people would create that Elven forest area if they ever attempted it. All of these screens are just so astonishing, I can't wait to see the rest!
