thanks for the comments, good or bad, I will keep in mind some of your sugestions, and show new screens as soon as I have something.
On this screen u can see: Smaug's lair, Water Gate, Emun Muil's welcome castle and the endless stairs.

I understand that some people find this park to unrealistic, but Middle Earth is a fantasy land and is not following the standard theme park design rules, otherwise it will look like any theme park. And this screen is just warming up before u see the great kingdoms and places in Middle Earth.

Rhynos - some of your thoughts are quite good and will consider them for my next update

JKay - it is quite coomon for every house in Middle Earth to have a big mixed garden next to it, people from Middle earth are using the herbs/plants as a medicine, and it is essential part of their life, thats why I have such a big mix there next to the welcome castle, but the mountain itself has only few types of trees ( u can see them next to the water gate)

VC15SA - yes, the next screen will be from Lorien

    :yup:

    Hi all

Well, here is a teaser pic from Lorien - A woodland kingdom of the Silvan Elves on the western banks of the River Anduin; Galadriel and Celeborn came there in the Third Age, and ruled it after the loss of its ancient lord, Amroth.

On this screen, u can see the wooden City of Lorien, Lorien’s garden and Galadriel’s mirror.

It’s not completely finished, but you can get the idea

Hope u like it, as much as I enjoyed doing it, comments welcome.yup:

I not sure if I'm keen on all the fisherman fences in there; it makes it very hard to figure what is going on. The foliage is questionable too. But you certainly get an A+ for creativity and your fantasy style of building. Nice job.

First screen seems a little too cluttered, as if you just scattered scenery pieces randomly around. Try to make things look neater and tie the setting together to improve the atmosphere.

Second screen is much better, except I despise those types of trees. Just a personal pet peeve, but I practically never use those trees.
  • VC15SA%s's Photo
Wow. This is wonderful. Lorien looks great. I love how you built into the trees like Tolkien described it. I am really looking forward to this park.

I'm liking that last screen - people may say u've used too much green and brown, but I think you've done it PERFECTLY...

Thanks for the comments guys, am actually quite glad that you like my fantasy theme park.
I choose those trees because they look quite different then ordinary ones, which is exactly what Lorien is, a hidden wooden kingdom surounded by trees that exist only there. Actually, Lorien looks much better inside the game, u can see the flowing water behind the trees, which gives some sort of depth.

I just like to mention that peeps can visit and explore every place and there is a large amount of animated scenery included too. Here is another different screen from Cerin Amroth, and there is Arwen's green grave (queen of Gondor), and this castle is built in her honour. Hope u like it

    Wow.

The structure itself, is incredible, but the towers look very "not RCT-ish".
You could create the tower almost exactly the same using Toon's blocks, probably.
  • VC15SA%s's Photo
Although the towers look a bit out of place, I still like it. The castle looks pretty good. Keep it up.

Wow, I'm so out of it I haven't even looked at this topic until now. I'm speechless. This is really terrific. Don't change a thing. The right blend of fantasy and realism is what I love to see in RCT parks more than anything else and you've got the mix perfect here. I like how different each themed area looks. Like you're not just following a pattern but really thinking about how each theme should look. Very cool. The architecture is really great. Flat-out, some of the best I've seen. All very complex and detailed but still looking like a coherent whole.

You could touch up on the details a bit - the trees are very cluttered (which I like) but instead of blending nicely in a swirl of form and color they clash (which I don't like). I prefer to keep the trees and bushes looking as realistic as possible cause I think that helps to sell the fantasy elements. I can see you're trying to keep the peeps happy with benches and trash cans but it just looks better if you arrange them more symetrically. It's a tiny detail compared to other things, but it makes a difference. Can't really comment on the coasters from these screens, but that batwing - water drop combo looks really great I think. You've definately got a good eye for design.

So anyway, I guess I'm all out of comments. A+ work. Really terrific.

This is a really cool idea for a park and I'm loving the way that you're executing it.

Keep it up, I can't wait until this is done.

    hello

Thanks for the great comments again, and I really appreciate all the suggestions, and will consider them for my next update.

Let me present "Dol Guldur" - Dol Guldur means "Hill of Black Magic. The stronghold of Sauron in the southern regions of Mirkwood, where he dwelt in secret as the Necromancer, until discovered by the Wise. When they assaulted him, he withdrew to Mordor, but the Nazgûl soon returned to reclaim Dol Guldur. Orks, evil beasts and great spiders came to dwell around the hill.

On this screen u can see one part of the tower, peeps can enter and climb on top of the tower, there is also shopping mall and hidden rides inside.
