It seems to me that current NE members are divided among overly pretentious borung "make-awesome-RCT-parks-no-time-for-fun!" people and useless spamming "we-add-character-to-this-site!" people.

But really. Threads about there is too much useless stupid spam at this site, are worse than useless stupid spam. I mean, Git keeps his bullshit to one topic, anyway. The Guy Above Me has not brought down NE. Nothing has brought down NE. Last I checked, NE is ALIVE, except now there are flame wars on all sides. And if my deductions of NE history are correct, said flame wars will die down to a flicker shortly and NE will continue with its regularly scheduled programming and we'll all think ourselves ridiculous for ever being involved with the madness that's occurring right now.

I never really agree with Moon on many things but that post I actully do agree with, in fact it has made the most sense out of any post in this thread Imo.

As far as Danimation "re-opening"...

It's just a ploy to try to overtake the number 1 position again. Either way, you will never be the #1 site again. RCT2.com has more of a following.

I will, in fact try to register for the new Danimation website, since "cussing" is allowed now and all. Will I post, probably, but don't expect anything but me on a crack bing over there. Especially for the fact that i can tear into that fucking piece of shit Chris Ryan.

Unfortunately, 1 of 2 things will happen when I try to register...

1. I will not be able to, though EVERYONE is allowed to re-register.

2. i will register, and "mysteriously" have my password changed again like it was last time, just to keep me quiet.

iris has been under a lot of pressure lately. Not to mention the fact that he owns and operates this website. He is allowed to act like a child every once in awhile. I mean how would you feel if you gave someone a new place to play and have fun, only for those said persons to say "Go fuck yourself" as gratitude.

While i find his attitude a little lacking right now, i also know he has been working non-stop on NE3, trying to get it up and running, just to have a group of incessant idiots telling him how much NE sucks.

I love this site, and will never abandon it, even in the worst of time. Which this time isn't even that bad. It was a lot worse last year around this time.


In the end, congratulations Mr. Smith. Let's see if Failed Resurgeance 2.0 works this time...

Seriously, NE was nothing like this when I joined and it seems nowadays most threads, regardless of the topic, turn into some type of flame-war. Case & point with Adonis's topic in the Ad District. I really agree with what Moonspoon said earlier in this topic about NE being "the RCT'ers" versus "those who feel their character humour add to the site" with an ocassional comment from "those who must be correct" fueling the fire. We can't always mesh, but I still think people can take small steps to prevent this. I will start by promising Metal that I will stop tracking down his posts in a trollish manner. I really have nothing against anyone on this site and will restrain myself from further comments that would say so. But you all have to remember that NE's lack of baseline rules allows room for controversy, conflict and downright entertainment, but every member has to do their part to make it work. Now, I would be highly appreciative of those who can refrain from flaming me for posting my honest opinion about these on-goings. Thank you.
