(Archive) Advertising District / efteling projects

I have never been to efteling so I can't really give you good comments, but as a RCT park it looks quite good, i have heard it said in this thread before, I'll say it again, it does look rather plain (which i don't know if thats how it looks in the park itself)

It isn't. Not having heard of this park, um, ever, I did a search at both Webshots and Flickr and found that the theming is, well, amazing. These screens don't even come close...

De gebouwen in het Sprookjesbos zien er in mijn ogen het beste uit, die kloppen wel bij de sfeer. Alleen de dingen als die draken zijn niet zo geweldig als je ze vergelijkt met hoe gedetailleerd het echt is.

The buildings in the Fairy tale forest look best IMO, those catch the ambiance of the real park. Only the dragons and stuff like that aren't detailled enough to be Efteling level.

To be honest, I think the Piraña looks really bad. I once started a Efteling recreation about a zillion years ago, actually it was October 2001, but I got some positive reactions on my Piraña. So perhaps you can use the following screens as inspiration:

Six Frags: we started this project more than 1 year ago. so we don't have this objects of toon tower, and I think is we use that we cat trouble with the object limit.

Its doesnt look like the Efteling to me. But its is nice as a rct park i guess. But i do like the way your advertised the second post of pictures.

the effort and your aim at realism are really nice. i think you miss a lot of building experience though. like, the colours don't really work and it's not truly beautiful. but that's perfectly fine regarding your state. just keep up the way you're doing it now and i'm positive you'll have a bright rct future.

I like how you're not over complicating things. The screens aren't over crowded, and the buildings are pretty basic with just enough detail.
