well the sox kicked some texas ass last night. however today was a different story. sox lost 6-5, it was a close game though. i think it should have gone into extra innings, in the bottome of the 9th pokey was picked off at first, which looked like a bad call to me. and then damon got to 3rd on 2 errors. pokey would have been one base ahead, so he would tie the score up at 6-6 and take the game into inning 10. w/e the last few games that the sox played were good. lets hope this loss isnt gonna turn into a losing streak but just be a little break in a big win streak. -

Astros = fucked.
Also Beltran was put on the NL Allstar team replacing Ken Griffey Jr. I'm glad too see him put on, but sorry for Griffey Jr. because he was having a good year. -

Why Griffey get replaced? He must be hurt or something.
Anyway, Angels and Dodgers roll into the break with momentum. Lets just hope the Angels can continue their surge to the top of the West and the Dodgers DON'T have their second half collapse like usual. -

Of course he is! He's Ken Griffey! Why Griffey get replaced? He must be hurt or something.
Anyway, Home Run Derby tonight, men. David Ortiz will win, because he's on the Red Sox and I like him. -

Sorry, this has not much to do with anything, but a little joke I found funny:
Q: What's the difference between a Yankee Stadium hot dog and a Fenway Park hot dog?
A: You can buy a Yankee Stadium hot dog in October!
Anyways... um, the Rangers are in first in the AL West at the Break. Yay. Good things come to those who wait... maybe they can keep it going on. -

^ Nice joke...thats gold.
well...it looks like Bonds, Berkman, Tejada, and Palmeiro are in the 2nd rd..
Watching Sosa miss the first one kinda made me laugh...but he hit a couple nice ones. Im just waiting that someone hits it out onto the street now that the roof is open. -

Effective during commercial break before final round:
Berkman over Tejada. Score, 8-6, maybe. -

Whoops.
So Tejada won. Very impressive. Must have been some of that mojo David Ortiz rubbed onto him. -

Congrats to Tejada on winning, but I was hopping Berkman would get it in front of the home crowd. I think Miguel would of been the last person I would have picked to win. Anyways I'm going for the NL in the Allstar game. -

tejada was the last person on the list. he was put into the derby earlier on that day. i definatly wasnt expecting him to win. i was thinking bonds would win and berkman would be behind him by 2 or 3. it would have been nice for berkman to win it in houston. -

He went first in round 1, and the pitcher threw the first pitch way outside, as if it was an intentional walk. Barry walked away and laughed. It was amusing. Was it true Bonds got "intentionally walked," cuz that'd have been hilarious.

Well, here's weird for you...get this:
The AL just hit for the cycle in the 1st inning, and scored 6 runs (3 unearned-yea, an error too) off of who? Roger Clemens of all people!
Whoa.
Yea! for Manny and the two run shot! -

Yeah, that was pretty insane. They scored three runs in the time it took me to go from upstairs to downstairs for dinner, lol.
