    My Top Five:

    1) The Bloods
    2) War Eagle (On account of SEC is way tougher than Big 12)
    3) Mushroom (On account of Big 11 is way tougher than Big 12)
    4) Boomer Sooner
    5) Aaron Rodgers' Berkley Experience (On account of who the fuck cares about the fucking Mountain West)

Oh, and I'm now a lot more worried about the Hokies next two games. I thought that the Tar Heels and the Herps would be pushovers, but noooo. UNC and Maryland had to go and win games over the amazing choking Florida twins and give themselves a huge fucking shot in the arm. And then its our rivalry game with UVA, and then we go down to Coral Gabels in December. Excuse me while I throw up.

So yeah, I think we'll still pull out wins in our next two, then fuck up against the Cavs, and get killed by the Canes, as always, to finish 8-4.

Wisconsin's only prayer to make it to the NC is for two out of the OU, USC, and Auburn grabbag to lose... that just isn't going to happen. They haven't had any statement games so they will likely finish out undefeated but in the Rose Bowl, which is not a shabby consolation prize if I do say so myself. Auburn would need to close ground in the polls to overtake OU, so a strong performance by OU next week would seal the deal. Of course, Auburn dropping one of their last games, which would not be a stretch at all, would be fine by me. Auburn will gain ground on OU in the computers should they go undefeated, but OU shouldn't lose much in the polls if they go undefeated... as is the nature of the human polls. Avoid the close calls and it is still OU's to lose.

I was really hoping A&M would upset OU. And they had that game too. Makes me mad. Oh well. UT played a great second half against Oklahoma State. Benson had a wonderful game with five touchdowns I believe.

    Geez, Comeback Saturday indeed!!!

Oklahoma came back to beat Texas A&M.

Cal came back to beat Oregon.

Texas came back (huge) to beat Oklahoma St.

Clemson came back and beat Miami (Kumba's really gotta be down... first Miami loses, then his H2H masterpiece gets dismantled, then Miami loses again...).

And best of all, USC came back despite Mother Nature's fog to beat Oregon St. 28-20. That was the scariest game I might have seen all year... beating Stanford and Cal.

But it's a good thing we're a second half team....

So we're done with another weeks, and there are... still six undefeated teams. USC, OU, Auburn, and Wisconsin are the four Orange Bowl Contenders. OU and USC should win out, barring some major upset (Baylor will tell you it's not impossible). Auburn and Wisconsin face tough end of season battles, but if they emerge unscathed, they'll have a huge reason to say they deserve the match, especially with their harder schedules.

    Another year, another BCS controversy.

    Ain't it grand?

bah. we blew it in the second half... again!

I almost had a heartattack during that A&M game. We were in Colorado after doing a college visit so I watched the first half at a sports bar, then the second half on my mini tv driving to the airport/going through security/in a sports bar at the airport. A&M was pumped up beyond belief going into the game, and even over a tv you could appreciate how loud that crowd was. That has to be one of the most hostile venues in all of college football, and to know they had a legitimate shot at #2, they were livid. OU had alot of problems in the secondary early on, they held coverage initially, broguht pressure, but McNeal would scramble and then find the guy who coverage at slipped off, made me sick. The coaches did a good job adjusting and this would have been a bigger margin if it hadn't been for two insanely gutsy calls on special teams by Franchione. Both teams fought their hearts out, but OU got out with the win and thats what counts.

One quick thing that is bugging me, anyone hear any negative press about Cal and how they are questionable? Didn't think so. Now, they were playing an unranked nonrival team at home, and win by one, and don't get anything crap from the media. OU plays two away games against ranked teams, one with a instate rival and the other with a bitter story line (upset, 77-0), and suddenly they are just a god awful team. But thats ok, because the ESPN crew has shown time and time again that they have absolutly no idea what is going on in the world of college football, and yet I watch anyways... sad.

Ainge and Schaeffer are both out, we lost to Notre Dame, and even though we're still in first in the SEC east, Casey Clausen's brother is worse than he was. We may get upset by Vandy or Kentucky, and if we don't, I just pray we have Ainge or Schaeffer back for the Auburn game. Not a good week for Tennessee football.

I would have never done that fake punt. It was quite a nice play though. I really think A&M could have won, if it weren't for their dumb turnovers. Like fumbling at the beginning of the third quarter. :@ Oh well.

    go UCF golden knights!

we are now officially the worst team in the nation. not a single game has been won this season.
  • Corkscrewed%s's Photo
What do you mean "now?" :p

Doesn't Iris go to UCF as well? I can never remember. :(

    NC State 10
    Florida State 17

    :(

Blackman made an amazing punt return for a TD, but neither team came out strong on offense. So much for NC State's bowl dreams. I'm glad to hear they are recruiting quarterbacks though, since no one seems to be able to fill Rivers' shoes. At least Bowden is a nice guy, even though I really hate Florida State.

Ya UCF sucks I used to live down the road from it JiMeMo. If you are on the UCF Orlando Campus I used to live all the way down Alfaya Trail back in Avalon Park. Anyways. Go Sooners.

its all about cal they shoulf of beat USC if it wasnt for the fag ass refs
  • VC15SA%s's Photo
Texas barely won today against Kansas. Thanks to those great calls by the refs. ;)

And they also should have lost to Oregon, but what can you do about that. Don't go blaming game outcomes on refs, you just have to play through them. If you really deserve to win, you are never in a situation where a blown call can cost you the game.

Give it up to the PAC 10 CHAMPION USC TROJANS!!!!

49-9 over Arizona. Covered the spread. B)

Auburn is damn impressive, and there'll be controversy if they, OU, and USC all end up undefeated (likely).

Wisconsin got upset, though, so that's one cog out of the BCS mess. Utah, of course, doesn't count. Yay college football! :D
  • PyroPenguin%s's Photo
Replace Pac-10 wil Cal, thats the only other team that can play in the leauge. But we all knew USC was going to go undefeated weeks ago.
  • Valp%s's Photo
Ah, can't they... just for a year... have a 4-team BCS playoff with USC, OU, Auburn, and Utah?

    'Twould be cool...

But since that would never happen, let's hope Auburn loses to Alabama (rivalry) and Utah slips one up.
  • Micool%s's Photo
I don't see any controversy. To me, it's like

    USC

    Oklahoma---Auburn---Utah

    Other top 25 teams
  • Corkscrewed%s's Photo
Utah's overrated. They play shit to get undefeated. I'd love to see them get KILLED in the Fiesta Bowl.
