Bugs(any type). Sleeping with my door shut. Someone is always lurking behind me. -

Wow, 2 pages in under an hour.
Is that a joke cause, not to be mean, but those are some strange phobias.Clouds

It would have had to take somthing VERY scary to be scared of those.
Wow, a lot of people seem to be scared of bugs in general, I didn't think there would be that many people here with a bug phobia. -

Deep Water. If I'm in a steady boat I am okay. But swimming in deep water.... could be hungry shark infested waters or just an empty resivour (sp?), it's all the same to me.
Ironic too, considering I am an avid swimmer, skiier, and boater. Much of my liesure/enjoyment time is spent on deep water. -

Heights. Unrestrained heights, I mean. I'm okay on any roller coaster you can throw at me because of the bars and seatbelts and everything, but if I'm on a tall hotel balcony...actually I won't go onto a tall hotel balcony, at least not near the rail.
There are probably others, but I can't think of any right now. -

Sharks...I have an irrational fear of them, that transcends "phobia".
Losing a limb, particularly an arm. Weird huh? -

I wouldn't say I have a strong phobia of spiders, but I do really hate them. I have no problem swatting it or picking up a daddy long-leg and throwing it out, I just don't like doing it.
Also, giant seqouia (spelling...?) trees at night. We were driving through the National Park and I don't know why but they just gave me a bad feeling. Not sure about that being a phobia. -

Heights, at times. I had a panic attack on the 120' Wonder Wheel at Coney Island two days before riding Nitro.
Serious Injury. -

Falling out of a car on the freeway and being run over to death.
...and snakes, and needles. -

so that's why mere was "moved" by open water
anyway...
bees/wasps/yellow jackets/etc.
needing to exert myself at anything
and I'm a little apprehensive with extreme heights, and extremely deep ocean...
you never know what's in there o.O; plus, all that space being filled with that much water... it's not right! -

Semi Trucks. When I'm behind them on the freeway I'm always afraid there going to tip over on me. -

Actually Chris, the shark aspect of Open Water isn't what moved me....it was the dynamics of their relationship, and things that I have seen and experienced in my life with regard to said dynamics that moved me....yes the sharks are scary too...but that wasn't the reason. -

1. HEIGHTS, bigtime. Like Moonspoon, its more of the unrestrained stuff, if I go near the railing of an edge then I get really dizzy and stuff. But I especially get it with planes. I LITERALLY hyperventilate on planes, you can't breathe, you can't think, the throwing up, the whole deal. It sucks. But planes kinda combine with the next one.
2. DEATH. Enough said, I think. -

Oh. Well see, I have no problems with planes. I quite like the taking off part where you go FASTLIKEHELL!!! and the landing part. I don't like flying because of the sheer boredom of being stuck in that stupid fucking plane for 3 hours when you're not taking off or landing. Then again, I always fly Southwest, which may explain my boredom.1. HEIGHTS, bigtime.
