Park Wars / RCT2

With RCT2 coming out in 10 or so days, what will happen to park wars?

I sincerly doubt that RCT1 parks will work in RCT2. What will become of our Parkwars maps? Will we continue on RCT1? Or just start a new map?

But that raises the question of will hacked maps work, and if not how long until we get a patch.

I find the whole non-compatable thing stupid as hell. Why not just make this a fucking expansion pack then!? I hate some of RCT2, I love RCT1. Hopefully we will find a way to hack into the game to allow the 2 games to be compatable.

It isn't really my choice to switch over, and I don't know what to do with the park I am working on, that is quite good IMO. Maybe i will release a RCT1 park, as a vintage thing.

Oh well, fuck RCT2 for the most part. I like RCT1 more. Parkwars 2 will be hosted by RCTHQ. So that makes me happy for the most part.

It couldn't have been an expansion, the game engine was maxed out. But yes, I find it stupid that its not backwards compatible.

I don't. The game is entirely different, except for the external elements. The graphics are reused, nothing else is, from what I've heard. Backwards compatability as such is hopelessly impossible, and hopefully the internal changes are worth it.

As for RCT2 fucking up everything, read Bocoson's post, he summed it all up perfectly. Keep both.

It would be great to keep parkwars in RCT1 anyway as you have to use your imagination more to think of new ideas to beat the competition.

I'm not gonna get RCT2 for a while. I may not get it at all. I'm content with RCT1. It'd be fun to see whether people care about new innovations in RCT once RCT2 is released.

Im the same wit Mantis..Ill get it in a while...RCT really screwed up my grades and I want to wait till my grades are up...cauz if I dont..ill become stupider(no one say a thing), wont get a good job, and i wuldnt make money, abd i culdnt go to an amusement park and ride rollercoasters

We now know what Mr.Coasters life intentions are, get good grades so I can ride all the rides with big lights at the parks. Ditto.
