Even though you want to have an accent on ONE main color for each area, use other colors in small amounts to take the "eyesore effect" out of it. Colors that work with what you have going, and highlight it more.
The trick is to use alot of little detail, without making it overpowerful. Something alot of "good" parkmakers don't seem to be able to do (in my eyes). Especially when attempting to do the whole foozy sort of style, but whatever... -

I'll give ya a new page for the screen.Svyelunite Temple:
I rate this as only average. It reminds of some of my work in Frontier Oasis, but for some reason gives me a headache to look at. Theres too much contrasting with the dark blue / white combo and those plants just add to the headache -

After i uploaded the screen i already thought 'no, it doesn't fit here' so i removed it.Just get rid of the thatched roof.

Hmmmm, I really like how you've used the glass/abstract as an alternate roof. Also, the ladders you've started to use on the buildings look nice. Mabey try to widen the paths a bit more, so you can give us an opportunity to see the entire building, and tone down the color to a more dull blue. The coaster seems a little compact in my opinion, but if you wanted it that way, it looks fine. Also, I think you should remove most of the flowers on the roofs.
Its pretty good for a first park, though. -

That screenshot isn't horrid, but not the worst. I think that if you used more colors on the walls, like lighter blues and darker blues. I actually kinda like it, I think you are starting off with a good start... I look forward to seeing more!

I don't like the blue building. It looks pretty much the throughout the entire thing. If you added more onto it and varied the color it would look better. and I don't like the plants either. -

the land is flat, fence off vegetated areas, and change the land type under the paths. that would make it look alot better. -
penguinBOB Offline
Yeah, add some landscaping, and that'll be the best area yet!
Also on that blue screen, try cutting out about half of those flowers and it'll look less disorienting. -

Your new screen is the best so far. Just fence off the vegetation, and add landscaping. Then it will pretty good. -

Thanks for the comments. I fenced it off, changed the landscape and yes, it looks alot better. I don't think I'll change the landscape because next to it is a big mountain so there needs to be some flat land imo -

That must be some ride for such a long queue line....and I would mix up your land types a little, all the grass doesnt quite look right IMO. -

Long queue line? Thats the giga coaster 'birds of paradise', the parks most exiting ride. -

I like the "stairs" of water...
I guess that ride will be popular, but try to think of the peeps. don't you just hate going in long queue lines, wouldn't you rather wait on a bench in the shade? -
tijlovic Offline
No, if many people want to ride the same ride, you should make a long enough line for it otherwise people are gonna make their own lines on the main footpaths. Secondly, the ride has 2 9-car trains so people never have to wait very long. Third, you actually see 2 queue lines in this screen, the left is for birds of paradise and the line in the right part of the screen is for 'stream of life', a rapids ride. -

Okay, then why not make them different colors so the viewer can distinguish which queue line is which.Third, you actually see 2 queue lines in this screen, the left is for birds of paradise and the line in the right part of the screen is for 'stream of life', a rapids ride.
