I think it's a fair rule, but unfair to inflict it now. Had that been stated before sign ups, I wouldn't have entered because I can't 100% guarrantee I'll have enough time. When I signed up, there was no reason why I wouldn't have the time, but reasons have since arisen.

Anyway, it doesn't matter because I'm not working this week, so if the deadline is thursday I have plenty of time to complete my entry.

Well, they'd be able to do H2H this season. It's not like they'd be suddenly suspended. But they could kiss their chances goodbye for H2H4.


Also, I think the whole "no contests ever again" rule should apply, but should there be a special circumstance, that will be judged upon by Iris (since emergencies can occur).

What if something comes up and your not able to finish because there is no computer(with RCT) where your forced to go.

I have to go to Frisco Wed-Fri, but I'm busting my ass trying to finish, and I'm sending in whatever I complete. So if I don't finish 100% I can't be in any more contests?

Well, I dunno what everyone is bitching about...it is Iris' contest afterall.

The simple way to avoid it affecting you?

Enter a P.O.S. Just submit anything that fits the requirement of what you needed to compete for, and fill it with water/trees/whatever. Unless he creates a rule banning that (which would be unfair, infringing on theming concepts), at least you didn't bail completely. You'll likely lose the round you're in/not place well, but be eligible for future contests when you DO have time...

We all have unknown events that CAN supercede RCT...if you have time, do the minimum and be ready for the next time.

BTW, so that I don't have to worry...I know the deadline is this Thursday, but does that mean it's due by midnight weds, or would I have time to tidy up things after work on Thurs. I don't recall reading any particulars.
