How would you accomplish a voting system for those not in it?
It would take just as much time for people to send their votes in as the judges...

While I'm fine with the judge system, I don't see what would be wrong with a voting system. It's fairly safe to assume that everyone would vote for themselves, so it would all even out. And if they didn't vote for themselves, then, it's not that big a deal.

Except if we all ganged up against an entrant that clearly had a more talented entry, just to remove that threat from the field.

Personally, I find the anonymous voting is more fair...

The voting part is only to determine what the best entry per bracket is and the winner gets a monetary bonus. The judges are all who determine who advances and who doesn't. Our vote is only for the bonus cash. I think.

I'm assuming by the number of posts in the North Bracket and West Bracket forums that judging has started for those two brackets.
