If spots are taken I GUESS I can go to LL, but I'd rather not.

Since this was my idea somewhat, I figured I'd enter one of my own contests for once.

Questions!


1. How big are the parks?

2. How many matchups, or, how many parks total will we be making? You said H2H would be pushed back around three months I think, but I'd like to know exactly how much work I would need to do in that time frame, and still have time for H2H.

3. There's not any chance we could do this after H2H, is there? Because then there would be no chance of the two interferring. I guess I will be in the vast minority on this point, but oh well.

And i don't like the splitting of rct2 and ll. There are tons more of rct2 players and i'd like to be able to choose the game.

I totally agree. Please consider merging them. I have been wanting to switch back to LL for a few very small spells for a long time now. But at the same time, I don't want to dedicate the entire contest to LL....... that would be suicide. I really miss the old game though.



As much as I hate turning down a big contest like this one, I am afraid I might have to opt out.
Unless everything turns out to go my way with this somehow, I think I will have to make the practical choice....... for once.

^ I can answer two of your qu's there, butta. The parks apparently are similar to pro tour qualifiers, so it depends on how much work you want to put into it I guess. Titan made a whole mini park for his qualifier, but then other peeps only filled 30x30 spaces for theirs. You can just leave it blank or fill it with cbass' black squares where you haven't used the land. And at most, there being 32 people each side of the bracket, you'll make 6 parks. Hope this helps... now sign up!

A very good point. I think getting H2H done with before this would be the best option. As awesome as the new contest sounds, it may have to wait.

Head2Head was only a couple months ago, and it was supposed to wait anyway with Park Wars. I don't want to keep having H2H seasons so close to each other because then it gets repetitive and loses it's excitement. There will not be a redraft.
And hey, you guys can use this team to work on your parks. This way, we should have absolutely no forfeits and lots of time to refine your parks when H2H does start in a couple months.

I do feel pretty stupid for getting stressed about the h2h3 parks now, but OK.
About splitting the contest into two, forcing people to choose a game, I can understand why it's done practically, but I, like Butterfinger, would like to do some stuff in LL too, and this might be a fairly good opportunity to do so, if it wasn't for that rule. Oh well, I'll survive.

I know I'm excited about participating in the big tourney, but why is H2H3 being delayed? Were the teams not established in...April? I actually thought it had started, aside from round 1 not being released for voting to the public yet...
