(Archive) Advertising District / Unamed Waterpark

Hello. I'm new to the site as you can tell and I'm just trying to make myself feel at home. Here is a waterpark that I have been working on for about the past 3 weeks or so, and I am just wondering what you guys think of it so far. No I'm not new at the game and I am not new at uploading rct2 stuff online. But I would like to hear everything that you guys have to say about my park. And please don't be afraid to tell me what you think. I like constructive criticism.

Before webshots deletes your photos for hotlinking, I suggest you use chapel's hosting (I don't know the address, sorry).

It looks okay. The ride layout it the best part in general for me. You need more architecture though around your rapids.. more landscaping too. The waterfalls are ok, but try to hide those supports, they don't look very good.

I'm gonna have to go with Jacko on this one. You need some more architechture, and those supports are ugly as my sister (very ugly). Also, you could lower the water before the drop on the far left of the first screen, and lets the rapids show.


PS: Are you the CPfan2008 from Coasters2k? If so, this is by far your best work.

The first screen on the right, there are supports showing... BAD. Add a base block under it to get rid of those and then add custom POST supports. Same with the building with the supports under it. I don't care for them, remove them and replace with some "normal" walls (and of course you'll have to loose the waterfalls).

Adding some more archetecture wouldn't hurt; color helps too.

Right click on the "X", go to properties, copy the URL, and paste it in your URL box.

I don't see Xs in Netscape. And IE sucks and I deleted it.

I think the parks really cool but more architecture would make it look really nice

Heres and updated screenshot. I took some of your guys advice and changed some things a bit. Tell me what you think of it so far.

Part of that looks kinda like Six Frags' rapids ride in Mythologix. Good job and keep working.
