I'm getting pretty sick of this fucking soap opera that the NBA has turned itself into. I honestly think that all of the free agent activity is being pushed on purpose because the NBA wants more people to tune in. David Stern is letting basketball get out of hand and its losing its quality. What happened to people who actually want to play basketball, and could play basketball? These contract numbers for average-at-best players are rediculous. I'd say a majority of the players need a good slice of reality...no one on this planet needs as much money as Kobe just signed for. Does the average person really need ten million dollars a year to live a decent life? Ok I'm done...back to playing NBA Live 2004 hehehe -

Hum.. on the radio down here their are rumors of Jorden comeing out of retierment to play with Shaq for a year. I wish the Heat had them a few years ago, they are both past their peeks now. -

So we're going after/maybe have already signed (I didn't keep track) Vlade Divac and Karl *may* return. Wait, weren't we supposed to be younger because we got owned by youth last year? I don't mind Malone, because as long as he's healthy, he's still a great player (the trick now is staying healthy), and I like Vlade as a person because he's quite amiable, but c'mon. It's Vlade. He's closer to winning an Emmy than an MVP.
Of course, maybe he'll surprise us? But we still need more, because right now, I have the Lakers slotted to compete for the #7 and #8 spots, with Utah, Portland, Phoenix, New Orleans, and Memphis. -

Yeah, I forgot about him. But c'mon. When you're known as "Nene," obviously you're remembered more.Take out Nene, insert Camby and you've got there 5.

Maybe the part about walking naked on the beach he's funny, I just hope he does get in shape and draw other great players to Miami. -

This from the former home of Robert Horry and Derick Fisher.
Vlade will fit right in on the bench down there, the guy only has about 1 tear left in him anyways. BTW he works best in a "team" oriented system, which isn't what you have with the ultimate "me" guy in Kobe. Anyways, we got Brad Miller for just this occasion and now we will see where the Maloofs go from here. -

lol, that was just wrong... just wrong. Did you notice how he went from 15% to 20% for how much he gets from published pictures? lol..Maybe the part about walking naked on the beach he's funny, I just hope he does get in shape and draw other great players to Miami.

Well, we needed a replacement actor. Duh.
Anyway, Sac should be just fine. He was a fan favorite, but it's not like losing him hurt the team too much in terms of talent. Miller was taking away a lot of time anyway, and he'll carry the load. Just hope he doesn't get hurt or anything. -

The Dallas Mavericks have agreed to trade Antoine Walker and Tony Delk to the Atlanta Hawks for Jason Terry, Alan Henderson, and a 2007 first round pick. Not a blockbuster, but it did involve quality players. Terry is a good player and the draft pick will probably be a good one (I don't see the Hawks improving any time soon). Walker is a nice pick up, but I doubt he will like his situation in Atlanta. He really wants to go to New York. We shall see....the trade is not official yet.
Oh yeah, the USA lost. It is a shame. -

Now they have a good PG. And the Hawks got screwed, getting Antoine "No Show" Walker. I wish the Lakers could make good deals like that! -

Wow, the USA just played an exciting game against Germany. Luckily they didn't make a fool out of themselves again. Iverson hit a great shot at the buzzer. Exciting games like these remind of the old USA teams.....the good ones. -

I was watching it live on ESPN and they fucked up and had the camrea on the crowd and not AI's game winner
We need to play alot better then that, I was almost sick watching them try to pass the ball, then even with the 3 point line 3 feet closer they pass up open 3's. It needs to come togeter soon or we will get beat by these teams that seem to have a lot more hart.
