    WTF!!

Fuck Okafor and Howard, this guys the real deal!

    LMAO! That's great stuff!

    Indeed...look at this last line:

"But I think it's safe to say that we all speak the language of basketball," Sefu says. "Even though Chimezie has been playing all his life with a ball made out of fused sheep's testicles."

    LMAO! :|''''

Anyway, being a Celtics and DIRK fan, I do not want him to go to the Lakers. Actually, it's mostly since he's my favorite player since Larry Bird. To think I'd want him to do well while wearing purple and gold would screw with my head, so it's best we have Nash dishing to Dirk and Shaq if that's how it ends up. I like Finley also, but not as much as Dirk, and am honestly confused why Jamison wasn't kept to offer to L.A., unless it's cos you don't want him in your conference come playoff time. Anyway, he's reunited with former fellow Warrior Arenas in DC..interesting...Stack's gotta still be trade bait if you ask me...

    Bueno. :bandit:

Francis is starting to REALLY piss me off. He is bitching about playing in Orlando and it is seriously putting the trade with T-Mac in jeopardy. The Rockets now supposedly have to find a third team to be involved because of that little bitch Francis. I think we can still get T-Mac, because he really controls where he goes (due to his ability to opt out of a contract next season). He said Houston is the only team he would sign a long term deal with, so thats a good thing for us. Bus dammit, I wish Francis would shut up and accept being traded like a man.
  • Kumba%s's Photo
he did the same shit when vancover drafted him, but really pissed about going to Orlando? wtf? that place is 10x as cool as Houston, just not as good at basketball, and wait aint mobly his best friend?
  • VC15SA%s's Photo
I seriously think Francis would rather go to a good team than a "cool" city.

Orlando does not want to give up one cry baby for another. That deal is in serious jepordy. I thought Nash is a free agent meaning the only way that deal for shaq goes down is with a sign and trade. Something tells me that Shaq is waiting to see if Kobe comes back, cause if he does then Shaq is gone, if not, Shaq might stay. I think it's all a power play on his part.

Another rumor has Kobe going to Sacramento (Aero possibly rejoices). If that's true... he's definitely a bastard.

We agree (he's a bastard)! He is not going to come here, Webber will only allow one superstar (himself)
on the team. Besides, another rumor has Kobe going to JAIL.

Draft is in 20 minuets, can't wait to get our new backup for Peja.

The Kings are also a possibility for Shaq.
  • Coaster Ed%s's Photo
Here's my perspective on the Shaq thing...

We don't need Shaq in Sacramento. Who are they going to trade to get him? Webber? Peja? I'd rather have them playing for Sacramento than anywhere else. The fact of the matter is, we already have a solid starting lineup and a great backup point guard. If Webber can get some of his game back and the team stays healthy, all that's needed at this point are a couple of tough swingmen who can play defense, which seems to be what they've drafted. If you're talking about championships, the Kings are there already if (1) Key players are healthy in the postseason (2) Peja works on being more involved when it matters and getting in there for rebounds -- something which he has been improving steadily every year by the way (3) Chris Webber works out a lot in the off season and finds his shot (4) They get another sparkplug bench player like Bobby Jackson who can re-energize them when they start to give games away. If they work on those things, they'll be ready next year. Shaq and Kobe can do what they want, but I'd hate to see the team make a grab for one of them and break up a good thing.

Dallas I understand. What they've got is not working and they've picked up all sorts of players now who don't fit together. If I'm Marc Cuban, I would keep Dirk no matter what and build a team around him. Trading him away for a few years of Shaq's services would be a big mistake. If he can get Shaq and Dirk though, I'd say it's worth a shot.

Judging by Orlando's drafting today and acquisition of Jameer Nelson, it seems as if the trade between Houston and Orlando is back on track. They drafted two power forwards and got Jameer, feeling the void of Juwan Howard and Tyronn Lue. Francis is also coming to his senses, realizing that Orlando would be a playoff contender in the East with a starting lineup of possibly Jameer Nelson, Francis (Finally allowing him to play his 2 guard position), Maybe Mobley, Dwight Howard, and Celvin Cato. The Rockets lineup would likely be Tyronn Lue (Unless Derek Fisher signs with Houston), T-Mac, Jim Jackson, Juwan Howard, and Yao Ming. Just make the shit happen Orlando dammit.

    Payton is the G.O.A.T.
  • Corkscrewed%s's Photo
    meaning...?

Also, here's hoping the Lakers draft doesn't wind up another Slava Medvedenko.
  • Outlaw%s's Photo
G.O.A.T. is Roy Jones Jr.'s [self-appointed] nickname which stands for G.reatest O.f A.ll T.ime. Not quite for Payton, but he's still the man.

What do you guys think if Coach Krzyzewski (Duke Head Coach) was the Lakers coach. That is the rumor going around. Kobe likes the idea.
  • Jellybones%s's Photo
Kobe likes it, eh? Sign him up, then!
  • VC15SA%s's Photo
    Yup.

Also Steve Nash has agreed to a contract with the Suns. Kobe most likely wont be going there now.

It'll be so weird having him NOT in Duke... but if it works out, why not?

The thing is, with Nash going to the Suns now (so much for the "I'll only play with Dirk the rest of the my life," you hypocrite), will Dallas still include a massive offer to Shaq? They'd almost have to include Dirk now, but Kobe supposedly doesn't want to play for him.

It's getting more and more likely that he'll go to the Clippers... maybe... which would be the devil.

Why the hell would you (Nash) go back to Phoenix for money? Didn't they (PHX) trade him back in the late 90's...after like 2-3 seasons?

...and here I thought he wanted to play with Dirk forever (so he had said)...

Damn. So, for the die hard Mavs fans (I'm a casual one-rooting for Dirk/Nasty/Cuban mostly), who's your starting PG now? Best? Delk? Harris is only a rookie too...Finley is a 2/3 and so is Stack (trade bait I'd think)...Iris is surprisingly silent with all of this...

Maybe Dirk will lead the point, and dish to Finley and himself. (kidding)

As for the whining cheater/dumbass in L.A., I hope he does go to the Clippers, and they do as well as they always have. He's no Jordan, that's for sure...

i do not really thing nash goes to the suns. he just wants to get more money and in the end cuban will see that he has to pay more for nash.
i think dallas without nash dirk and finley doesn't work. and they need a big man. shaq would be a great choice.
i hope cuban doens't act as stupid as he did last year or mavs will be even worse this season
