    My favourite Cities?

    1.) Tokyo
    2.) NYC
    3.) Hong Kong
    4.) Venice
    5.) Shanghai
    6.) Rome
    7.) Berlin
    8.) London
    9.) Chicago
    10.) Houston

Some interesting choices in there... While America is my place I'd most like to live, I can't really picture myself anywhere but NYC... Or possibly in a mansion in the Hollywood Hills... Santa Barbera? I dunno... As long as Christina Aguilera is my neighbour, I'm happy.

    AMSTERDAM!!

and not only coz i live there :).

seriously, for the first three weeks i felt happy just walking around. It's incredibly diverse, beautiful, and even i can't get lost. Well, it just happened once :D. (because everything seems to curve back to central station. (water canals, not sure on the english word for "grachten") though i did walk right out once.)

In the states i'd have to say Las Vegas and just New Orleans (in which i basically lived) were my favorites.

For all you paris lovers you should go to amsterdam! visit WME.

en djfanatic, volgens mij was ik ooit in spijkernisse. laatst nog haha. snel weg gegaan alleen =P.

My aunt and uncle went to Amsterdam quite recently.

They said it was cold. :-p

    Steve's Favorites:
    -Boston.
    -Orlando.
    -Montreal.

Montreal is all right. Once you get to see the finer side of the city, it's beautiful.

Memphis, Tennessee. And NOT because of Elvis.

    For two reasons:
1.) Sun Records. Two words, JOHNNY CASH.
    2.) Beale Street.

Beale Street is nice and all, but the rest of Memphis is trash except for the 'burbs, and who goes to cities for the same comercialized crap you can find in about every city?

I'd have to disagree. Not with the Dallas part, but with the "Fort Worth is way worse". I live in Dallas, and you're right...there's not much to do here except eat and shop.

But recently, I started a job in Fort Worth and I've found it to be alot more cultural and active. There are interesting neighborhoods, great museums, numerous historical landmarks, a great public parks system (something Dallas is seriously lacking), and a wonderful zoo that puts the Dallas Zoo to shame. Fort Worth is alot smaller than Dallas, but not too small to lose it's urban appeal.

Dallas is a very pretentious city...your appearance (namely, whether it appears that you have money or not) makes a big difference. Fort Worth just seems more casual, liberal, and welcoming.

I've been to all four of those cities (I am including Amsterdam) and Montreal was by far my favorite. It is a very beautiful city.

I am going to Italy this year. We will have time for one other country. Right now it is a toss up between visiting Prague or Budapest....so I need advice from those who have been to either, or preferably both.

Providence because I go there a lot. And then Boston because sometimes I go there but not that much any more. And then Vegas because I went there twice and it was fucking amazing, I can't imagine how it will be when I'm 21.

Well as already stated San Diego but Tucson Arizonas got some of the most awsome sunsets and an awsome little canyon right by the foothills.

London. Especially the area around Covent Garden has a great atmosphere. I've been there in a lounge-room called "Fuel", and it was there where I met the real English people. It was great over there, really wanna go back there when I'm able to.

Edit: omfg, lol. Sorry for kicking this topic, I didn't looked at the date correctly... Sorry :mantis:

    My favorites:
    -Paris
    -Rome
    -Florance
    -Prague
    -London
-Amsterdam (in a way, if you go look at it from a tourist point-of-view and not the city you're going trough everyday by train)

Those are the ones I really remember quite well. I've also been to Venice, but I was to young then to remember it more. The only thing I know it was scorching. Also Vienna is a bit to hazy to remember.
From the european countries I still like to see Greece, Russia, Spain and Portugal.
