We just had a rumbler! Shook the house for 5 seconds. It'll make the news tonight for sure! It was in Calif... -

I saw that on the news, I heard it was like 5 somthing and there was no damage or injurys if I remember correctly. Sounds like typical California. -

We had an earthquake here in Savannah, GA once. It was recently, like in the past five years. It was like a 1 point something so it didn't make the news really.
I felt it, but I thought it was my sister coming up the stairs. -

It was two actually. A 5.1 in Rosarita Beach, and a 4.7 5 minutes later in Lancaster (near SFMM).
Funny thing is......10 minutes prior to these two, ther was a 4.3 in Alaska...on the same fault.
Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo (that's Twilight Zone in case you didn't figure it out) -

It was only a 5.2, which is almost nothing in SoCal. It's not minor, but not major either, and I didn't feel it (I was in Newport Beach this afternoon... so I could have possibly felt it). If this was the East Coast, though, it might have sparked total panic and national coverage!
Anyway, yeah... nothing major, really. If THIS is what those Cal Poly SLO guys predicted would be the quake to hit the Southland by September... that's sad. Of course, that quake was supposed to be a 6.something... but whatever. -

lol. yeah i heard that the san fransisco area has really small earthquakes fairly often. i know people who live down there, and when i was visiting they told me a couple stories of small earthquakes, but they dont last more than a minute or two.We had an earthquake here in Savannah, GA once. It was recently, like in the past five years. It was like a 1 point something so it didn't make the news really.
