(Archive) Advertising District / Lost Ruins

Hello all,

This is my first park I post here at NE! I was told to register here and post my park here, since most guys here are very good So I went here and this is my first park to post at NE

Your park does have potential which is a good thing. My suggustion would be make your buildings more interesting, make each area look like there actully ruins, use things like 1/4 blocks, balconys, landscaping, and even look at some pics from real life to pull off the theme your going for. I thought my computer was gonna blow up when that ringing started Scared the crap out of me.

I'd give it a 4/10. It reminds me of juno's nile park, which is a good thing, but with much less details. The park concept is solid, but the bare areas and flat landscape is mainly what turns me off to it. Your theming is definitely better than your coaster design. The Atlantis area really needs some work. To me, a submerged bldg and a couple trees doesnt really come off as Atlantis, but its still a good effort. I would also try to widen your paths, all I see are single-wides....keep workin at it.

I already started on ruined buildings in the Atlantis Part... I also know I aint got that much detail yet, any suggestions to bring in details???

God damn it that music scared the hell out of me!
After recovering from the shock, i found this to be a neat little park- the screens were a bit too revealing and were unfinished. But you show some nice looking archy and some different coaster designs. You have improved so much since I first saw your work!

I didn't really like it. The buildings are just blocks and the randomly raised land with wooden sides in ugly. Try to use more colour, texture, cut back on the random land.

I think I want to kill Freewebs for offering music for their websites. Mission Impossible huh?

Anyway, the architecture on some of your buildings is interesting, but as Ann said, your coasters leave something to be desired. Most of them seem VERY short, and VERY tiny (as in not very tall).....all of my redundant rambling aside, the concept for the park is very cool. It will be interesting to see how you pull it off. And for future reference, please remove that infernal music from your site, or at least make it so that you can shut it off from the home page.

About the music: You can turn it at the page off (below), youll see a stop and pause-sign there if Im not mistaken

Im currently working on some ruined buildings, and its pretty hard for me, since its my first try... Its coming along pretty well though, and I already showed it to someone and he liked it Im also making the building containing the coaster less blcoky
