Denmark could stir something up. If they play like that they have a good chance of going through. I love Rommedahl's umbelievable speed, (PSV fan) and the rest of denmark, too, was incredibly fast. Italy had a few moments, but i don't think they were the most likely to score here. Though a draw is still good for Denmark, since they probably would have taken it if given the option before hand. At the end they were playing a bit of panic get the ball out of there for the draw football.

He has a point, as the things that really hurt soccer/football for me are the length of the field and the length of the game. At the same time, we don't want it to turn into indoor soccer, because that shit is really quite stupid. Though, running up and down a soccer field/football pitch sucks a lot (trust me, I played for many years until high school level conditioning made me say "Fuck this").

In all seriousness though, the only problem I have with football is the length of the field. I realize it's proper and whatnot, but goals are enever fuckign scored ever.

It's the same problem with hockey.
I need sports that will have finals scores that are higher than 5.

That's just me though.

I find club football realy boring to watch almost all the time (I do love it sometimes) but International football is "da bomb" so to speak. Id rank club football not even in my favourite sports where as International footy is up their with my faves.

And IMO American Footy dont suck. I can see where you yanks are coming from. 0-0 are 99% of the time, realy boring. But then again American footy is just stop-start-stop-start where as football has a flow and certain players can make magic with their feet e.g. Ronaldhinio, Ronaldo, Rooney, Zidane, Henry etc.

Last night i was gutted. We played 90 minutes of solid football and then when to sleep inthe 3 minutes of extra time and in that 3 minutes France decided to play like gods. Talk about bad timing. I still rekon we'll qualify.

For those who complain that 0-0's are boring, watch the highlights of the Italy v. Denmark match.

A few years ago I was at the MLS Cup match which was 0-0 for 120 minutes, and ended in a shootout...I can assure you it was not boring, despite the lowest-denominator soccer that the MLS plays.

Football is good because it requires... efficient use of space.
