Worst. Final. Ever.

Wow. Up until the Extra Time (5 minutes...holy shit) Greece only had one shot on goal...and that was *the* goal that one it for them (they later got 1 more shot off)...how freaking insane.

This tournemant has been so unpredictable. Greece winning is a joke, I would have had them as rank outsiders with Latvia at the beginning but look at them now, it's amazing. If someone put £1 on them winning and Baros being top scorer they would have netted £166.

Greece were 100/1 to win and Baros was 66/1 to be top scorer. I might have to make some outrageous bets at the World Cup and hope there is more upsets. I'm glad Greece won though.

Well, I guess that means all the Portuguese window flags will now be removed from all the 89 Corollas in the Greater New Bedford area now.

How random. Football is getting much more random recently... korea at the last WC, the champions league, and now this. If England had the luck greece did this tournament, they would have won every game.

They deserved to win it, they beat the favourites, drew with spain, beat czechs, and portugal twice.. Whatever team does that deserves what they get.

Anyways, was wondering what everyone thinks of the game, but perhaps more so the decision not to talk to the media. I think it's absolutely pathetic, surely a better response would have been to have had the interview and say, we answered your criticisms, now eat your words, instead of starting a full on war with the media. Bit stupid if you ask me. The game was good though, 4 points from perhaps the 2 hardest matches (Wales away is the only game where we could now get beaten, although England could still lose games themselves) is fine, you can't ask for a 100% record I guess. Plus, defoe and rooney are really going to push owen when they're all fit, defoe had a great game, so did Bridge, I think that left side might finally have been solved, although it's too early to say for sure. And what do they do when Rio and Sol are both back...? Hopefully Robinson has secured his place as well, that would make me feel more "secure" when teams go on the attack for sure.
