If someone said to me england didnt deserve a win i could kinda agree with them. Portugal did play better for the most part. But have to say that they did deserve it, they defended very well the whole game, and if it wasnt for the dumbass ref england would be a much much happier country. I cant understand that if he says that it was a puch, why he let portugal take it out of the net, and run down the pitch with it. It looked like it was all planned!!! And these are supposed to be the best refs there are?

England always seem to have the bad luck... at the last world cup, we got brazil in the quarter finals, as opposed to the germans who had usa - paraguay - south korea and got to the final. euro 2000 phil neville fucked it up with an awful challenge, france '98 we lost on penalties, euro '96 we lost on penalties.

At the end of the day we were negative after 3 minutes when owen scored. We never attacked enough and deserved to get beat after 90 minutes.

But.....

The luck england have is horrible, when we do attack we score a perfectly good goal and the referee disallows it. Disgrace. And the fact that shite wanker postiga scored made it worse.

Beckham and gerrard were awful. Defence was superb as was michael owen and vassell.

Also penalties is a harsh way to go out
