Good game. Looked like Ashley Cole got the ball on that one, too, so I felt a bit sorry for him.

I reckon the Portugal game will be thrilling.

Best performance by England so far I think but we really need to sort out our defence, especialy on set peices. We really miss Rio commanding them at the back. It's encouraging that we have only conceeded from set pieces though.

If we sort out those set pieces we've got a real shot at this tournament.

Rooney is easily player of the tournament so far. That's probably one of the best performances from any player I've ever seen, when he was on the pitch he dominated the game, dropping into midfield and charging forward. He's scored half of england's goals so far, and played a part in one of the others.

Fucking hell I am sooo glad. I thought I would come on here and see "Although we won, that was terrible". Personally I do not think we have actually played bad in a single game yet. We have been getting very good results, tonight shows this.

Ashley Cole has a big match ahead of him as he has to deal with his enemy, Cristiano Ronaldo.

My most entertaining game.

We will be exposed down the flanks by Figo and Ronaldo swapping sides and keeping both Cole and Neville on their toes. Neville isn't quick enough to keep up with either of them but doesn't leave the gaps Cole has to submit by venturing forward, I think Portugal will get most joy down the right side against Cole and we will probably see alot of two on one situations with Figo and Ronaldo against Cole because Scholes will have drifted to the middle. If we can stop those then we will have stopped their main threat, then if Gerrard can keep Deco underwraps we will have a great chance. Rooney's pace will be vital agaisnt the relatively slow centre backs of Portugal I can see him scoring more.

2. Owen has had his critics, but once again set one up and you can see his confidence is getting better.

Sweden - Denmark - They won't play 2 - 2 on purpose. I think both teams will be offensive today. me guess is 3 - 2 to Sweden, actually.

Italia - Bulgaria - Italy will go on knock. They have to win (which I think they'll do) to advance so 4 - 1 Italia.

France really did a quite bad game against switzerland, the swiss goal was wonderful. Henry scores his first goals in the tournament. the last one was pretty nice. Englad did a good performance also.

i think they'll both play offensive, as they have done so far, and if it actually gets to 2-2, i doubt there'll be much scoring going on. Or would Denmark really like that 1st place.. nah. Why risk that, when a third place gives you a ticket home. 3-2 is unlikely, possibly from a 3-1, but never from a 2-2. 2-2 means the match is dead. Since they are rivals, it's very unlikely they'll draw on purpose, though.

and the swiss goal takes rooneys youngest person to score award away, haha..

Yeah you right about that. Now sweden played 2 - 2, the last minute the ball was only played around in the swedish defense... I still not think it was decided that hey should play 2 - 2... but who in Italy cares... They will piss off. They was near though. Taking the lead in 90+4 so if sweden didn't score that goal in the 89th minute, Bye Bye Sweden. Good anyway, the scandinavians advances...
