Yeah, congrats...

Me and the missus.

Yeah, so I finally went to Comicon today. Today was the cheapest day, but it's also the last day and the day they have the least amount of stuff going on (except for Wednesday night, I guess). Anyways, I went. And in nice-ish clothes, since I had a wedding to film at 3. It was crowded (the nerdcon, not the wedding). I got lots of free posters. I had Marv Wolfman sign my copy of Crisis on Infinite Earths. I also waited in a slowly moving line in order to get a sticker which would let me wait in another line, which would in turn allow me to spin a wheel at the CBS booth and win something. 80% of the prizes were pretty good though, so it was worth it. The only "meh" ones were a CSI pen and a CSI bag. I won Season 1 of Numbers. I've berated the show in the past, since I've explained that it's just an attempt to make people think that math is cool, but that's always led to people lecturing me for an hour (no joke) on why math is cool. But it isn't. Especially not pure math. Engineering math is alright. But now I get to watch that and allow people who like the show to borrow it. And after that they asked if I wanted to have my photo taken on a prop from their new show "Jericho" (which they coincidentally started premiering upstairs as I waited in line). The prop was a piece of roof or something. Here's my picture.

Before I left I went to some thing where they had a few voice actors, including Futurama's Billy West and some guy from Family Guy who did lots of random lines. It was entertaining. I had to leave early, but while there I heard Billy do Zoidberg, the Professor, Zapp Branigan, the narrator, and a few minor characters, like the energy being who tries to pick up on Leela. Oh, and I made a point to stop by the Adult Swim booth. It was fairly boring the few times I walked by. It was some kind of garden theme and all they had was a TV playing stuff and a table covered in Adult Swim postcard books. They were pretty cool, so I should've taken a few more.

I was waiting for you to show up... It baffles my mind how certain things can get by, like male gymnastics (No offense to you, Turtle. It's just not seen as a very manly sport here in America because nobody gets hit and you can't drink to it.), but god forbid somebody learn to play a musical instrument.

Musical instruments are perfectly okay by me. I play piano myself. It's the dumb choreographed show routines, the silly clothes, and most of all the viewing of music as a competition that bothers me.
