I just read the thread on 'As the Falls Fall'. Aside from the design being completely hilarious, the conversation between GigaG and Sammy is gold.

Seems like a lot of NE'ers are in their primes before 16 or so. I remember when SSSammy and I were two of the youngest guys here. 

I think turning 16 and being able to drive got me away from the computer enough to make me really lose interest. College doubles that.

I don't think it was being nasty. It was an interesting observation how no one is symmetrical.

Busy busy busy. Everything has been pretty hectic since January! I'm heading into a cognitive neuroscience + robotics masters program at my uni after I get my BS in Psychology. It's an awesome little program that google is hiring straight out of. It's basically the combination of artificial intelligence with cognitive psychology (AKA artificial intelligence that can adapt).

 

I've also become obsessed with going to raves This summer has been amazing too! Camping, biking, hiking, and driving all over California (all the way down to San Diego). Music festivals too! Disneyland! Ahhh

However, she is transferring to SDSU in 2 weeks and I am very sad. We are committing ourselves to a long distance relationship, but it's still depressing. I'll have quite a bit of time for NE again!

I'm good. Good.

 

This summer I got an internship (paid) with Verizon Wireless. Pretty cool. Learned how to code/write some (advanced HTML & Java, JSON, Sencha 5), and shared the office with a couple friends. I even had my own cubicle, and i never had to get coffee for anyone!

Besides that, it's been a wonderful summer.
