I pay $50/month, but i generally go 2-3 times a week. That's for two different gyms. I'm a big fan of the slab problems, mostly because my upper body was incredibly weak when I first started and had to stick to them. It's a shame you don't have much of them, Magnus.
How big is the place?
I am mostly going here and it is 500€ per year or 50€ per month or 9,50€ per visit.
Already looking forward to three weeks of fontainebleau the last week of july and the first two of august. -

Looks about the same size, but mine also has a large section of longer routes for top roping and sport climbing. Yours is 20x nicer looking, though. How big is the place?

^^I should post mine from a week ago. My buddy and I pulled our shirts up for the first one, complete with peace signs and hysterical faces. I never knew taking pictures at 120mph could be so....awesome. -

To confirm I kick-ass in live poker too...
Also yeah maybe the Kumba shirt did it. I had some of the most amazing luck possible. Had a straight flush and 4 of a kind 3 TIMES! Was fucking crazy -

yeah dude the one where you're swinging the guitar is awesome,
btw is that a sheckter? I have the omen series cherry red and it's a beast since I've had EMG active pick-ups, ultra sustain and doesn't detune ever. -

Schecter player for life:D
I've got the c-1 classic in amber red finish. Possibly looking into getting another Schecter sometime soon though. Really have my eyes set on an 8 string, since I play in a very strange tuning that requires the bottom strings to be low and the top ones to be in E-Standard.
My management is in the process of working on grabbing us a sponsorship by them, but that might not happen until we release our album.
Either way, it would be sick! -

^ Drop-D tuning? Fuck...I remember doing that long before it was popular and I remember everyone wondering why we sounded so fucking bad ass. You go, girl! -

Actually, I play in E-standard with my low string tuned to a B. My other guitarist and bassist are tuned to C standard with the low string dropped to B. So technically drop B for them.
The only reason I keep my other strings in E standard is due to the fact that the vast majority of my playing consists of leads and countermelodies with minimal rhythm and chord parts. I use the low B for an occasional lower riff or breakdown, but hardly at all for the most part.
If I had a 7 or 8 string, my life would be much easier:] -

I play in C and I hate dropped settings tbh, I think it's lame and lazy for people who don't want to play powers the way they should be played... -

I completely agree with you on that.
However, no power chords are found in our music:]
Listen to this unreleased track by us and let me know what you think. Theres no vocals on it yet, and it is unmixed. But you'll notice that the majority of our guitar work are complex riffs and melodies, with the occasional open 'breakdown' thrown in.
God its so hard to be original in todays music scene haha.

The first minute or so is an interlude type track, so you can either skip past it or enjoy it:] -

the song would be better without the break or something added to the break imo, like fast chord driven undertone for atmospheric purpose or a slow-fast-slow esque solo would make that part less boring
the rest is good although having playing in regular B tuning with a previous band I think this sounds a tad soft in parts knowing it's in B, I mean in the really fast picking riffs I'm missing the low end counters to the higher melodies, counter melodies are cool don't get me wrong and it suits the style but go out of the comfort zone and try a lower note style for some melodies it might give a cooland nasty effect, also I think you shy away from dissonant tones a little, it all sounds to correct if you get me,like instead of a fret progression of 5-1-3 try something in the sense of 5-1-4 to shake things up and give it a more dark, scary and most of all edgy tone to the song...
just my 2cents and what's there is really good but since you said it's hard to be original I'm just throwing my opinion in, also a cool way to have a "wake-up call moment in a song is to actually skip a time signature like when you have a 4/4 scheme leave a the last time out and restart the riff after 3 time markers so you have a riff progression of 7 time meters isntead of the usual 8 and thus creating a more direct and focussed song wich really catches the listener by surprise...
anyway you guys are on the right way and I hope you guys can keep doing what you love...

Thanks man. I like to hear people's thoughts on our music from a more educated standpoint.
The long introduction is actually a separate track on the album though, and is not a true part of this song.
Also keep in mind that this is technically an 'old' song for us. It was written almost a year ago, and our style has progressed much farther since then. Our newer music is even more technical with more emphasis on unorthodox time signatures, polyrhythmic patterns, and even more melodic aspect to it.
Thank you for checking it out though dude:] I always love hearing from you. -

...Math rock is hardly original either. If Lady Gaga proved anything, it's that even being original can be unoriginal. Play what you want. -

True. But we DO play what we want. We don't create music with the sole intent on being original and not fitting a certain form.
We just simply draw upon our influences and jam things out in the garage like any other bands. Its just at this point we are all influenced by a more technical and melodic sound than before.
