Slightly off topic here but what is he the king of anyway? I mean, Kobe has 5 rings to his 0 so he's obviously not the king of basketball. Maybe was the king of Cleveland but that's done. He can't be the king of Wade County....it's fucking WADE County for crissakes. Perhaps the king of playoff failure?

We can refer to him as the "Former Self-Proclaimed King" if that works better for you. Dan Gilbert's response to LeBron's hour long publicity stunt was the most amazing thing I've read in a while.

LeBron, if you couldn't handle the pressure of being the #1 guy here, how are you going to handle the pressure on a team that was bought to win, and only win? I don't see the 3-way down in Florida working very well for anyone.

@K0NG- haha, i never understood why he got the nickname king. Hes a great player, but i agree, NBA success is measured in rings so Kobe currently stands number 1 among NBA players for his 5 along with all his personal accolades. Also, i got a kick out of the whole wade county thing too, WTF?! haha. It also frustrated me that sportscenter, and ESPN in general, really, had to cover lebron 24-7 for the last week. Sure hes good, but he doesnt deserve aaaallll the sporting worlds attention. Anyway, thats my thoughts on the NBA right now
