What times, according to the board clock, would you be online?
Im on the eastern clock, but now that summer's come, im going to be on a lot at night and stuff, its part of my daily routine right now anyway

Because ive noticed a lack of moderation recently, especially with my own topics
As a mod, what would one of the first actions you take be?
Figure out what needs done, and do it.

Why *shouldn't* you be a mod?
Iris doesnt like me, much of the community hates me, and i can be biased on some topics. Also im lazy and dont read all the topics..

1) I go on the site atleast 2 hours EVERY day.

2) Just thought Id apply and see what happens. I think NE is realy great community/site and I wanna become a larger part of it.

3) I wouldnt go on some stupid power trip or something pathetic like that so my answer is simply... get to work.

4) Yeah. Id a mod at the the forums for my local music scene and i have been a mod at various fan-made gaming sites.

5) I sometimes read what I want to read and missinterperate things, I have strong political veiws (but I try to respect the veiws of others), Im hated by members of NE, I have never finished a park, I sometimes dont get jokes that you Yanks tell because im Brittish and im a Tw.at at times.

1. Sometime between 3 P.M. and 9 P.M. on weekdays (almost every day), and basically all day on weekends, and during breaks.

2. Because I want to be able to edit topics freely (not to abuse the power, but to edit topic titles, descriptions, small things like that). Also, to get rid of a lot of garbage around the site.

3. Get rid (or at least try to) of the Landfill.

4. A bit at RCTHQ, except it shut down just after I joined the team.

5. In all honesty, my occasional lack of commitment. You saw it in my Blaze Battle, and you can see it in my parks (still trying to finish up Brain Freeze, except that park might be lost forever due to a virus).

1. What times, according to the board clock, would you be online?
- I'm on everyday for hours and especially on weekends I don't have soccer, or a project, or whatever. Generally, whenever I load up IE my first instinct is to start typing "forums" so that makes me kind of weird and obsessive. Times vary, but mostly popping in and out between 3 PM to 10 PM on week days, and 8 AM to on weekends.

2. Why do you want to be a mod?
- There are so many worthless topics, but there also need to be people there to welcome new users and answer their questions.

3. As a mod, what would one of the first actions you take be?
- I would strive to help people with unanswered questions, and help organize the board to help fit the needs of the users. (Or basically, close pointless topics, move those off-topic, etc.)

4. Do you have prior experience?
- This is a long shot, from way back two years or so but I modded on LLHyperdude's (I think thats his name) - aka RCTWorldMan (Zach might remember him from agd) - forums. Other than that, I've set up my own forums and administarted them, and at one point I believe I modded at SFFTNET. Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure I did some considering I created the first layout for it.

5. Why *shouldn't* you be a mod?
- Because there are 20 other people more qualified for my position. (That really killed it, didn't it?)

What times would I be on?

Believe it or not, I have been on just as much as usual lately, I've just stopped posting so much. I usually manage to make it on the boards once a day when working my arse off on a park (like the PT...) and thats for about an hour or so. When I'm NOT putting in heavy duty work in RCT I can be on around two times a day.... probably two hours total. After my PT is done my computer schedule should follow that general agenda, as I have pretty much stopped working myself to death in RCT like I used to. To cut right to the point, I am on various times after 8:00 p.m., and occasionally in the mornings 10 to 12 a.m.

Why do I want to be a mod?

Moderating is something I have had my eye on for a while. When the sun goes down and I have nothing more to do outside I am typically on the computer the majority of the night hours. Lots of times I am just cruising the boards looking at topics I have all ready thoroughly read, hoping that something else will get posted. It would be wonderful if I could use this down time to help the site. I think I would be pretty good at it too, having helped lead various other projects and.......... stuff. I don't know, but I do know I would be whole-heartedly dedicated to whatever you assigned me to.

As a mod, what would be one of my first actions?

That depends on what I (hypothetically) got assigned too. I have seen a lot of under-modded areas to the site, and I hope that if I was chose by some longshot that I would be able and willing to spend the time necissary to fix any problems. Or whatever. I know I would be willing at least.

Why Shouldn't I be a mod?

I have a slight case of computer illiteracy. As in, I can't do html or anything (If that even matters). I am not the best at any technical stuff, although I usually manage.

A few notes...

Basically, if you can function on the forums now, being a mod won't be much harder.

Mods will all be global mods, with a few very rare exceptions (Blaze Battle, Team Forums)

Mort, you win a gold star, and caught my eye by realizing the asset of being European... if we can get mods on at almost all times, it'd be awesome.

Any other questions, about responsibilities, perks? As well as more applications, I hope. You have nothing to lose by posting to be one... and if you don't post, your chances of becoming a mod reach near-0.

I'll be on around 4-9:00PM MST weekdays for most days and I will be on nearly all day (MST) during the weekends. If I'm not I'll notify anyone who needs to know when I'll be gone.

I'd like to be a mod because I feel I'd be good for the job and helping out NewElement would be a pleasure.

Moving posts and topics that need it and closing and editing threads that have been requested to do so.

- In the summer, pretty much all day unless I go somewhere. When school is in, 2:00PM (est) to when i go to bed [usually around 11:00PM (est)], unless I choose to go/do something.

Hah, when will I be on? The REAL question is when will I NOT be on. I am ALWAYS on NE forums unless I am at school, the only reason I wasn't here the past 2 weeks is cause I had testing... tons of it, and homework, tons of it. But I'm back, 24/7...

Well I feel like I would be a big help to New Element, my past reputation is really... well... n00bish, and I hope it won't affect my chances on being a mod... what matters in a forum member is present attitude, not what he/she was in the past.

Well I'd get rid of most of the hated members, I'd check in with Iris with some, as I don't want to get rid of a member and Iris wanted to keep he/she. I'd also edit posts with INCORRECT GRAMMAR. God, those posts without capitalization and punctuation, they kill me. Last but not least, delete, or lock some of the topics I feel shouldn't be there.

I was running one website that got somewhere in the past, but I decided a website wasn't my thing, I wanted to help a website, I was going to ask the owner of ACN if I could be a mod, but that would be just plain out stupid.

Well, as I said before. My past reputation. It is now gone, but wow, horrible memories. I just hope you guys won't see what was old me and not consider this post, I want you to see for what I AM, not who I WAS.... AND... I am addicted to the Halo theme song... bad thing in SOME cases...

I'm always online, checking forums, except when I'm at school or work. If I have a purpose other than updating my park, I'd be sure to be here even more often.

Why do you want to be a mod?
I dislike it a LOT whenever there are threads that are in the wrong places, when there are posts that are completely off topic, and whatnot. I like to keep things in an organized manner, as sad as it sounds sometimes.

As a mod, what would one of the first actions you take be?
Cleaning out threads, moving topics which aren't in the correct sections and anything else that seems to need to be done.

Do you have prior experience?
Yes. I own several Invision threads myself, I am an admin over at Dolphin Park Amusements, I Co-Owned (and ran the forums) at Worlds Of Fantasy (before it closed), I've used YaBB, Invision and whatnot. Overall, I know exactly how forums run.

Why *shouldn't* you be a mod?
I shouldn't be a mod because honestly, I don't post much. Usually mods are top posters, but I'm sure (as already stated above) if I had a bigger responsibility I'd post more often.

I know I have like zero chance, but I might aswell.

I think it would be great to be able to be respected and be able to have fun with the people at NE more than I can as a regular member. I would of course try not to be too ban happy. I'm usually only on power trips when I'm mad.
