I love the park so far. even though the size seems out of scale because it's not peepable, that won't matter. It might be a little difficult to keep the scale the same throughout the park, so i would watch that. On Main street you used the really skinny poles to support the overhang, all i can say is it looks really flimsy. If you have access to the SE i would go back and find a pole that is slightly larger or perhaps the roman pillars would work well. -

I've experimented with several poles on the Emporium, and trust me, none work but those. I've been trying my damnest to keep every structure on Main Street as close to the real things as possible. I may try the balcony corner post I used on the Exposition Hall later, but right now I'm trying to get OUT of Main Street.I love the park so far. even though the size seems out of scale because it's not peepable, that won't matter. I've posted another screen of Main Street, U.S.A. in the albums. It's a shot of the Fire House Gift Station and the Car Barn into which the parade floats go after the parade is over. The final Main Street, U.S.A. (not all of it) will be revealed next week.

The fire house is excellent. So is the Exposition Hall.
And little details like the barber shop pole on the paths are awesome.
now .. where's the castle? -

Looking good! I like how you manage to make everything realistic as well.
Where is the Castle? I am looking forward to seeing that. -

Sadly (for ya'll) the castle will not be revealed until release. You may get a brief glimpse of it before then, but don't expect much more.
The same goes for Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon, Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Emerald Eye, and Night on Bald Mountain. -

Yeah, I've built it. I'm still working on the top and the Columbiad Cannon. Read my post right above yours. -

BIG update time.
The completed Main Street, U.S.A. is now up in the albums. It only shows off the south end of MS and I still need to place a couple of trees and benches.
Also, check out the Disneyland Resort album for a nice view of Lake Disney. Notice the shape of the lake. -

Main Street is nice. I think you have used that red awning entirely too much, but it's not tragic. -

I agree completely but blame the Imagineers. Those are the exact same colors as those on the real buildings. Plus that awning looks good in red. -

Update: Main Street, U.S.A.
Construction has been completed on Main Street, U.S.A. at the Disneyland Resort. The turn-of-the-century town serves as the entrance to Disneyland Park and is also the park's largest shopping and dining area.
For Disney related merchandise, check out the Emporium, which is the parks largest store, Disney Clothiers, and the Main Street Athletic Department. Smaller specialty shops include the Fire House Gift Station and Lillie's Boutique on Town Square and Uptown Jewelers located at Center Street.
For food on the go or a quick sugar craving, pay a visit to the Boardwalk Candy Palace, the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, and Casey's Corner. Main Street also offers a variety of full service restaurants, all with their own unique menus. For a New York deli-style sandwich, take a pit stop at the Market House Deli. If Italian food is what you are craving, then Tony's Town Square Restaurant is the place for you. If you want good old American food served in a relaxing atmosphere, then let the waiters at Walt's: An American Restaurant take care of your needs. For some less expensive and "real" food, check in at Victoria's Homestyle Restaurant for some good ol' homestyle meals.
Work has also been completed on the central Hub. From the hub, all lands within Disneyland Park shall be accessible. This will make it near impossible for guests to get lost. At the top of the hub sits Snow White Castle. Unfortunately, the castle will not be revealed until the park itself is complete.
More screens can be found by clicking on "The Disneyland Resort" in my sig.

As I've said before, you're a very unique parkmaker! You capture the "Disney" feel in a perfect way, using a unique style! Keep it up! -

'Tis purty indeed. I am curious to see the rest of this park, and to find out if it's as detailed as the entrance, hotel,, and Main Street. -

I actually hate the wall textures, But I'm willing to live with them - They remind me of Cell Shading. Done badly. I think they detract from the architecture - But thats my only complaint.
Jolly Good Cap'n... -

Wow, nice work Mad Dawg, very nice!
Could we see some other lands besides Main Street now?, cause I think you've already shown way to much of Main Street.
Keep up the fantastic work!
