(How could you know I hired Eisner as hotel manager. ??? )

I think that job would suit him well.

I am loving the hotel. Did you go for a recreation or just along the same design but with your own twists?
  • Highball%s's Photo
A little of both. If I did a 100% faithful recreation (which I could), it would be about twice it's current size.

I cant get into the site, page not found stuff :(

Why dont you just post your pics in the post, www.rctdimension.com/upload to upload them while asperix fixes up his hosting. It will be much easier, and people wont have trouble seeing your work.

don't try getting into the imagineering department at WDW!

Trust me, the state that place is in is terrifying. Seriously, it's dying; the remaining guys are scrambling to keep their jobs while holding off all the people who want to get in WHILE it's all going down in flames from lack of ideas AND "interest" from the disney franchise. It's chaos, they don't really do anything beyond what I just stated.

This is what Daniel Loya told me, who I would trust on this subject being that he has pretty high connections to disneys animation department.

SO if this is bigger then normal how are you going to do the rides???

The site works fine for me, Richie. And thanks for the suggestion on hosting, but Worlds of Disney has been updating his site the past couple of days which explains all the downtime.

Thanks for the info Blitz. I have quite a few years before I head down to Florida to apply for the job, but I will definately keep what you said in mind. I would rather stay on the East Coast and work at WDW then have to transfer all the way to California and work for TDA. I'm a southern boy.

Don't worry about the rides, disneylandian. Most Disney rides are mostly indoor anyway, and those that aren't I'm not too worried about.

Thanks again for the kind comments. I wasn't expecting this much positive feedback!

The hotel is looking good. I'm not a big fan of all the white in the gardens though.

And is there a Florida branch of WDI? I', pretty sure all of WDI was out of Glendale, California and they do everything.
  • Blitz%s's Photo
er, yeah, my comment was misleading...

I meant that the situation for WDI is bleak. I said WDW because he's near there, and I thought his interest was local (I had no reason to suspect otherwise). But yeah, that was stupid. It's all done in glendale, struth.

I would like to thank you all for flushing my dreams down the shitter.

I would like to thank you all for flushing my dreams down the shitter.

Now how can you expect to go anywhere with that attitude? You'll never survive seeing your masterpiece hashed and slashed by the execs in Burbank until it is nothing a hint of its former self.

If it's your dream to be the captain of a sinking ship, then you'd be right at home

alas, the truth is more important than being deceived with flowers and birds and melody... better you hear it now then later.

By the way, what school do you go to?
  • Dark_Horse%s's Photo
I believe Mad Dawg goes to the University of Georgia- Athens (UGA). Correct me if I'm wrong, MD, you're the one that goes there.

Lazyboy, blitz.... I was being sarcastic. I have no intention of giving up. A lifelong calling is kind of hard to ignore.

Mad Dawg wishes he went to UGA. I go to Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU for short). I'm only getting my core classes there. When I'm done with that, I may transfer to SCAD for art classes. Nothing is set in stone though.

I think its pretty. The hotel is absolutely amazing from the ariel shots, and everything looks beautiful.

Good for you to follow your dreams. Never give up, and if you do make people think you just changed your mind.

    B)
  • Dark_Horse%s's Photo
Oh. Sorry about that MD. You're such a big Georgia fan that I thought you went there. Your avatar and name kind of gave me that idea. I guess next time I'll let people answer questions directed towards them. Anyway, Your hotel is absolutely stunning. I wish I had your skills. I'm trying my best to make my park look Disney, but I will never be able to pull off what you're doing. Great job.
  • Blitz%s's Photo
well, I never intended to discourage you, and I wasn't expecting to change your mind.

    Just, you know, fyi.
  • Highball%s's Photo
I know, and thanks for that info blitz.

  • Tech Artist%s's Photo
Wow, nice! I really like the realistic feel of this. I can't wait to see the other lands. :D
