It's so.... It's simply beautiful! Great job on the facade! And you made a wise decision in including Ursula and Jafar! lol I love those villians... -

I think you have a very difficult task ahead of you with this attraction. You will be held up to scrutiny the likes of which you've never seen......or not.
I'm really not fond of those turret pieces. The colors are WAY too pastel-ish. The entrance to Shadowlands looks nice...yet somehow unfinished. I don't have a specific criticism of it, I just think it needs more...something...not sure what....maybe take a second look at it...
It will be interesting to see how you pull this off.
P.S. WD Tilted Acres is being recreated in 3D.
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread...(OK, maybe I did...a little bit) -

I'm not sure I understand. Besides the fact that it's an E-ticket, it's just another original ride in the park. Unless you mean the ride living up to people's expectations of a ride titled "Bald Mountain".I think you have a very difficult task ahead of you with this attraction. You will be held up to scrutiny the likes of which you've never seen......or not.

Bingo! (Please refer to Phantasia's "interpretation" of Bald Mtn. for an example of said scrutiny) -

That water drop kicks some serious squirrels. This is the only time ive ever liked the look of the scary custom trees, damn i want this in 3D!!!
You are missing some black roof, on the small balcony, and to the left and right of it too. -

This starts the monthly updates. I've actually been getting alot done lately, and I might even be able to push the release date up. That is if I dont hit the map data limit. I have about 3 million left before I hit the limit. I've already cut Splash Mountain from the park and expanded the Rivers of the Far West, so that should help to keep the limit down. My construction blitz has seen the 100% completion of Fantasyland, the start of Big Thunder Mountain, and the serious start of Adventureland. Some of these screens might not appear new, but in fact they are. Anyway, onto the new screens.
The Adventureland Bazaar
Woody's Western Round-Up
Alice in Wonderland
The Village Haus Restaurant. To the left is Gepetto's Toy Shoppe.
Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon. This is all you get to see
See ya next month.
EDIT: This is the new link to my albums. I've got my own section now. How cool is that? -

the Village Haus looks awesome. just like the real one.
I want some more Space Mountain. -

This is absolutely beautiful work. For once someone is building a realistic Disney park, and it looks great. It also looks different from the other Disney parks out there - the facades actually look like they would belong in one of the parks. Great job, Iceman. -

^ Now I'm going out on a limb here... but... I take it you've never seen Meretrix's parks. -

I certainly have, but to me, his parks lean more on the fantasy side of Disney. Yes, he has some realistic things in his parks, but this just has a more realistic feel and look.^ Now I'm going out on a limb here... but... I take it you've never seen Meretrix's parks.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. The path around Space Mountain blends in with the land too much, though. Few other gripes...Zero clearance and hack paths through the tables in the Village Haus screen. There is a castle wall floating in the Space Mountain screen. And I don't know, the Alice and Wonderland screen looks odd. Don't know what it is...Maybe the custom trees. Anyways, it's fantabulous. -

Man, you're really giving 'Trix a run for his money. In my opinion this surpasses DTA as D_f's Disneyland Greece . -
Meretrix Offline
Yes, it does surpass DTA....and it should. DTA is over a year old. I am more than happy to "pass the torch" on to Scott, as he is doing a bang up job for the Disney name.
Scott....this park looks FUCKING STUNNING!!!!!!!
I may very well buy WW AGAIN, just to see this park in "the flesh" (and I think WW is only about 5 bucks now)
Your Alice in Wonderland is beyond compare. How long have you been working on this thing anyway?
As for the sprite limits. Map data is what you need to be concerned with (think you know this). I finished Phantasia with about 50,000 sprites left in the map data. DTA had about 70,000 left (after I deleted the hotel which actually put me OVER the limit). The sprite limit won't fuck you up. The map data limit will. Keep a very close eye on that.
As for the rest...sucks that Splash is gone....but DLP doesn't have a Splash, and it is, in my opinion, the strongest of the Disney parks (that's a flame war right there folks).
P.S. I have seen the Space Mountain...and it is stellar!!! -

Holy shit, this is awesome. The facades are beautiful.
The Village Haus Restaurant is my favorite screen of them all.
This is in WW? Shit...I have to go buy it now. -

I love the Alice screen most. It shows true creative talent from you. The only thing I'm not fond of is the Space Mountain path and sign colors...
BTW, PM me! We haven't talked in a while. Glad to see you're not dead. -

Damn that was alot of replies fast. Thanks for all the comments. The wall above the Space Mountain queue was a boo-boo. I have a habit of leaving things hanging around where they are not supposed to be.
The sign has problems, I know, but I like it. I'm trying to fit a star above "Mountain" and next to "Space". That should spruce it up a bit.The only thing I'm not fond of is the Space Mountain path and sign colors...
It's only $9.99 for the RCT2 Combo Pack at EB Games. That's where I got it from last month. This is in WW? Shit...I have to go buy it now.
In about 2 weeks I will have been working on this park for a year. I've become attached to it so I'm pretty scared of that map data limit right now. I'm back up over 4,000,000 right now (I deleted the surrounding forests) so I may have a chance to finish it they way I want it.Yes, it does surpass DTA....and it should. DTA is over a year old. I am more than happy to "pass the torch" on to Scott, as he is doing a bang up job for the Disney name.

Splash may not be in DLP, but this isn't DLP (despite popular belief). It's my favorite ride of all time and I really wanted it in this park, so I may attach it to DL on a separate map. I agree w/ DLP being the best Magic Kingdom, and I don't think that will start a flame war. IMO, all it needs is Splash Mountain and it will be P-E-R-F-E-C-T.
Oh, and you haven't seen this Space Mountain.
Whenever I zero clearance things with paths, they glitch. I would rather have them separate from the paths than glitching. And Alice in Wonderland is supposed to look "odd".The path around Space Mountain blends in with the land too much, though. Few other gripes...Zero clearance and hack paths through the tables in the Village Haus screen. There is a castle wall floating in the Space Mountain screen. Thanks again guys. I may have BTMR ready for the next update. It's looking good so far. -

Time for the December update. This is probably the last update before the parks completion. Adventureland is almost done and all I have left is some touching up and Discoveryland.
The African Marketplace. This is part of the Adventureland Bazaar. The pictured structure houses The Curious Giraffe and the backside contains some restrooms. Yes, I know it is a lot of brown, but remember these are based on real structures so adding colors would ruin their authenticity IMO.
The Enchanted Tiki Room. This building hosts the Tropical Serenade, an audio-animatronic show consisting of exotic birds singing in unison.
The Sunshine Tree Terrace. Located next to the Enchanted Tiki Room, this beautiful sit-down restaurant offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience next to a thundering waterfall.
And last but certainly not least, something I'm really proud of. This turned out almost perfect:
The Swiss Family Treehouse. Sitting atop the highest point of Adventure Isle stands the Swiss Family Treehouse. Guests can explore the the home of the Swiss Family Robinson while taking in breathtaking views of the park.
That's all for this update. I was going to show the Jungle River Cruise or Pirates of the Caribbean, but I thought some things have to stay secret or else no one will download the park. -
