Thanks, man. I personally think RCT2 is more difficult than RCT1. Any links to your work? It sounds like some of the old farts around here have alot of respect for you.Alright, I had to come out of lurker mode here and state that those screens are absolutely amazing. It just blows me away what's being created in RCT nowadays. I remember back to the Danimation days when megaparks were first coming out, all bland and basic... now look at this stuff. It's simply mindboggling how people do it so well. I try to build something in RCT 2 and it frustrates the heck out of me. Too bad my LL won't work because of some stupid error trapper message I STILL can't clear out for some reason. Oh well.
Great, great work, keep it up. I'm looking very much forward to seeing the finished product.

difficult in different ways it is. i think RCT2 is easier for hacking (with the 8cars) while i think rct1 archy is harder (might just be me). -

Don't start that argument up here.I personally think RCT2 is more difficult than RCT1.

Thanks for the info mantis, it would be awesome if I could play LL again. I miss that game like you wouldn't believe. RCT 2 just doesn't hold the same interest for me. I'll be sure to try that, see if it works. I remember I've got some old stuff I was working on before it crashed on me, perhaps it can be saved. Then again, maybe not.
As for RCT 2 being more difficult, it's just a lot more time consuming and cumbersome. It seems I used to be able to create buildings and parks quickly and fairly decently in LL, now I create crap in RCT 2 that wouldn't even pass for a decent park on a wannabe website. Oh well.
Although I have been working on getting better in RCT 2 recently... we'll see what I can come up with. Actually, we'll see what I can finish. Keep up the great work Dawg, I can't wait to see more. Sorry for somewhat getting off topic in your post here. I think a few of the old farts around here have always given me too much credit. I wasn't ever really that good.

Not a great update but it shows some recent progress.
Random structures near the Alice in Wonderland facade.
The Wishing Well. Take a turn by the Three Fairies Confectionery to a secluded spot all to yourself! The Wishing Well offers a spectacular view of Sleeping Beauty Castle and a repreive from the busy walkways of Fantasyland. This area is closed during the Wishes Nightime Spectacular.
The Three Fairies Confectionery. A shop inspired by the cottage in which Aurora spent her childhood. Here you will find sweets of all kinds made especially for you by Flora, Merryweather, and Fauna themselves.
You can see part of the facade for The Cinderella Story in the lower left corner.
The Village Haus Restaurant. Serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and deli-style sandwiches in a rustic Italian atmosphere.
Sleeping Beauty Castle. Now updated and complete thanks to Fisherman's diagonal Victorian rails.
Disneyland Park Overview 08-21-04. You can see how the lands will radiate out from the Hub very well in this screen. I have decided not to link The Shadowlands to the central Hub because it's dark theme might frighten small children. To remedy this problem for guests trying to make it from Fantasyland to Discoveryland, a pathway bypassing The Shadowlands will be constructed and linked to the Hub. -

It all looks great, as usual. The only thing that bothers me is the every other raised wall on the exterior stone walls, I don't know the correct name for it. Anyways, they look paper thin and ackward. I know it's probably an important feature, but it might look better without them. It's your park though, do as you please. -

^ It's part of the castle.. Those are huge turrets..
You know exactly what I think. Your work is like pictures transfered into a RCT reality. Can't get better than that! Although you could get sued for some reason! -

Yeah, I know it's suppose to be part of the castle, but I still think they look ackward. -

The "turrets" stay. The only way I would get rid of them is if that wall was wrapped around 1/4th tile block but I know thats not happening.
Expect an update on Frontierland in the coming weeks.... and maybe a glimpse of the Frontierland Mountain Range. -

It looks amazing! I can't find anything I don't like in those screens, the architecture and theming are excellent. -

Haus isn't Italian, it's German. The Village Haus Restaurant. Serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and deli-style sandwiches in a rustic Italian atmosphere.
I'm part German and live near a German restaurant (Dairy Haus), so I know what I'm talking about.
The castle is nice, but I don't like your custom scenery choices. -

Thats one hell of an update. I love how everything is spaced out and how you make the unimportant rides such as the carousel as interesting to look at as possible. The turrets are okay, maybe a little thin but i do not know anything else you could replace them with.

Wow MD, I haven't checked out this thread in awhile, but I'm certainly not disappointed. The screens are beautiful and extremely precise when it comes to the Disney quality. I also like how you have everything so well planned out. You're definitely on your way to becoming the next Meretrix. You'll have to help me out when I start on the Main Street section in Walt*mart. My only gripe is about some of the scenery choices, mainly those ghastly spiral trees, but you make them fit somehow. Nice job! -

I hate saying this and it's gotta be the first of a long while. I hate it. Sorry. The vegetation is not to my taste, and I find the architecture rather bland. I also don't like the paths you've chosen. They don't fit imo. Sorry bout that.
