(Archive) Advertising District / My New Park

Greetings. You have probably noticed I am new to the forums. Anyway, here is a new park I am making. It is a big improvement from my previous park(you dont want to see it). Its sorta tropical or mexicanish themed. I'm not all ninja-like with my parks like a lot of you here at NE, but I'm not a complete n00b. Anyway, here are two screenies.





The second screen of the enterance is at a bad angle.

It's nice. It looks sort of Kumba-ish. One thing that distinguishes you from a stereotypical newb is that you know style.. and that means you're porbably going to improve a lot of you keep at it. Try adding some more colors in there.. something more bright. Also, take away some of those bullrushes in the fountain. Nice start.

The screens look pretty good....you must be a Kumba fan....some suggestions:
1.cover up that horrid entrance bldg....
2.add some more color in there, whether in the archy or with some flowers
3.maybe mix up the path textures some
4. like jacko said, take out some of those bullrushes

I think the flat roofs are the largest problem here. It's a bit too plain, because of the overall brown-ness of the area

He can call them whatever he wants. But I do agree, you need to change the paths from time to time.

Exactly what I was thinking. Add some dull green or red around some and it'll really help. Otherwise it's fine, you just need time to grow a little.

- I agree. Some dull green or red would improve the overall look. I like what you've done with it, but a little time and practice will make it look much better. Just keep trying and dont give up. Good luck!

Thanks. I've added some green and red, and it really adds. The park's coming along quite nicely. Hopefully I'll get another pic up today

Quite using so many of those awaful pointy bushes (I can't remember their name suddenly). They really interfear with the over all look in that number. A few is good but that many is awaful. The color sceme of the floorless is quite terrible as well. Something that is close to the trim colors in the area (dull, reds or greens) would be much better.

Good Work. It's okay; Not the best work I've ever seen but it's good. (No Offense). It matches the rest of the park very nicely, and I like what you've done. Keep it up!

They are called Ciyad or something. I think I spelled it wrong though.

I think the red needs to be the dark, deep red, and I think there needs to be some yellow too. The coaster looks a bit boring. Stop updating so quickly, so people don't know the entire park. Don't complain about not getting comments, or you might be completely ignored.

sorry for updating so much. Like i said, this is my first attempt at creating a park that doesnt suxor so I need all the input I can get. Either way, I'll slow down on the updates.

Let me just remind you that any name suggestions for my park are welcome. As you can see, its tropicalish(i make up words!! )
