All the versions of Winamp till version 5.03 have a hole in them.
That hole can be exploited by hackers so they can take over your pc.
With this hole, they can also download trojans onto your computer.
Do yourself a favor and un install if you are running any older versions.

If you have winamp 2, want to upgrade to get rid of the holes, and want winamp 5 to act like winamp 2, choose those options.

Interestingly, I just upgraded from version 2 to 5.02 two or three weeks ago (before I heard of any of this). Guess I'll have to go up .01

Fuck it. I still have Winamp 3, and I'm just gonna uninstall it. iTunes is way better.

Eh, I don't know. I personally got iTunes just cos of my iPod, and I've stuck with it.

I have iTunes, but not an iPod. I like it because for me it's a lot more organized than Winamp.
