I'm sorry I don't understand. You're asking how to merge track right? But you're linking to ja227's tutorial for doing just that? ???

Deano, he is saying that he doesn't completely understand what it says and he is looking for help in understanding it.

Don't worry, I haven't a clue as to how 8 Cars hacking works. I use SoB for track-merging and 8 Cars for the other stuff like invisible track etc.

I copied that exact tutorial, even with the same tracks it shows, and also the colours... It didnt work for me.. :'(

fuck that tutorial, its about as clear as mud....just use zero all clearances, and build the coaster track on top of the other track....simple as that.

for those who care, the new version of 8 cars (1.302) can be found HERE. Its got some cool new features...like map data /sprite / ride counts vs. limits, relative & absolute zero clearances (still trying to figure that one out) and some other nifty stuff....definitely worth checking out....

relative & absolute zero clearances (still trying to figure that one out) and some other nifty stuff....

Absolute is so that you can build through everyting. Everying has 0 clearance. Relative lets you build anything with a clearance of 1. So you cant build through stuff, but its fine for hacking an archway over a path.

    Now back on subject...
