It's better than any n00bie park I've created... I just think it's too BEIGE and BROWN - for MY liking... it may look really good to Vidgms., therefore, he should keep going....

We're comparing his work to pro's in the field of park design. That's not fair. Compare it to YOUR parks that you made when you first started out...

Ok my new park, I think that I have made one beige building..? I will post screens tomarrow and I think that most people will like it but I can not tell people how they will think about it. Thanks.

Some people asked for the screens and I have them here. I took JKays advice and started toying around in the PT bench. I added some stuff so it isn't the exact PT bench but is like it.

MUCH better!.....its good to see you took some of my advice, that PT bench really does have all the tools you need to make a quality park....These buildings are now starting to have a Spanish feel....and its good to see you are mixing up the architecture, colors, textures & landscaping.....

Two problems
-those doorways dont look right with the fisherman fences as the arch, I would try toon's castle arch instead
-try to avoid large flat roofs, I would either add more architecture or some roofs to break it up.

But, wow, you've shown that practice really does payoff....nice work.....show us some more!!

1 problem i see the repetition of all the flowers make it look more random put in different colors of stuff dont make it so syncronized.

On your second screen you have the same colored plants all the way and on the back row you have it repeat bush, small tree, bush, small tree get rid of that make it more random.

Ok. I have been working on SM2. Here are some more buildings that I have built. I don't reall like the bell tower and how it turned out but other people might.

Vary the trees in front of the buildings, you don't want all palm trees. And the building in the front right just doesn't belong there. Maybe widen the street, make it more open.

If anyone shows any interest in this park I will continue making it. If there is no interest then I will scrap it.

I agree. Build for fun, dont think "will they like this, will they like that" as you build, you will only take the fun out of the game.

It does look ok, but i think you need a little more detail in the buildings. At the moment they all look like blocks with windows. The yellow windows stand out far to much on the brown building to the left, and where the path goes inside you can see a paper thin wall, might wanna add a wall inside.

Dont scrap this park, just keep building. Practise makes perfect, and your getting good, pretty quickly.

I like the simplicity, but you might want to make the walls not "paper thin", and try to make your buildings go over and hang over paths and others shtuff like that, maybe vary land and wall type too. Other than that, I see nothing wrong with this pic.

I'm liking the brown building in the last screen. But you need to add one more color to all your buildings...right now there's just too much of the same color on them.

Those Pirate Ships in the middle of the pond are eyesores. Try to do something else with the pond either than that.

Yes, after looking at the pic they stand out. I will try to change the paths and the colors and I will see what that does for it.
