Anyone else see it on USA?
My first reaction to it was, "ok, seems normal", but quickly changed to "Whaaat the fuuuuck....". I'm gonna see it this weekend. -

I can't believe I missed it. Oh well, I'll be there this Friday with a group of friends, if I can make it through conferences... -

All I know is that I turned on USA and saw a movie [turns out it was Final Destination] and in that scene, a computer screen blows up, shattering glass into a girls neck. Blood squirts everywhere, and keeps squirting. Oh, but no, they couldn't leave it there, they had to let her get stabbed too. I nearly barfed.
Movies like that really need to not exist. -

Final Destination is my FAVORITE movie. Ever. I've watched it close to 40 times...what a classic.
As for Dawn of the Dead..I'm a sucker for horror and suspense movies, even if some do leave me very paranoid for a couple of days. But in the end, my psyche goes back to normal...and I keep going back. -

The second one is even better.
Those movies are fucking hilarious.

why? we already have a "dawn of the dead", which is an absolute classic. one is enough for anyone, and even if it isn't, there are two others out there! i'm sure any, and every, one of three are better than this thing.
and, well, should you get tired of those, watch all of george romero's other movies. may i recommend "martin" as a starting-point? so good...
next we'll probably get a remake of "halloween". and then a remake of it's 4,000 sequels. and we'll get 4,000 more sequels in the original series, too. and then those will be remade as part of the second series! can you just imagine how bad that's going to be? save horror movies: don't support this crap. -

I thought it was good. I really like how the killing starts right away when most horror movies have the killing start 30 to 45min in.
I think I am gonna go see this this weekend. -

I thought it was hilarious! Final Destination 2 was better though, where that guy gets his hand caught in the rubbish disposal...and ends up getting a rolldown ladder through the head...evilness...All I know is that I turned on USA and saw a movie [turns out it was Final Destination] and in that scene, a computer screen blows up, shattering glass into a girls neck. I'll prolly see it because there is NOTHING else to see in the theaters at the moment, that it is spring break.

Well, it turns out I have to go to a Driver's Impact panel on Saturday for two flipping hours, and it's two hours away from me. I hate Driver's Ed. So, now I have to wait until next Saturday. -

Funniest part in FD2: when they have you thinking that the kid is going to die from choking on that thing in the dentist's office. That would be a great way to die.. I really like that gas. And they shouldn't have suspenseful music there either.. more like Pink Floyd.
I can't wait to see Dawn of the Dead. It's starting to surprisingly get good reviews. Plus, Sarah Polley is in it.. and she was awesome in Go.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind looks good too. -

Im going to see the new DotD tomorrow. I thought the first DotD was hilarious, but good, in its special little ways, tho. The zombies had to knock over something in each room they entered or else they were worthless. lmao! Everyone one of the zombies was part of the blue man group (bad make-up). lmao again! Im glad they are spiffing this new one up so at least we (the general public) can have A horror/scream flick to see now.
Good for Universal! -

The Snow Walker
Triplets of Belleville
Those are definetly worth your time and money, and they're both made in Canada -

I sure hope that's not the only thing you got out of that post. I just like to point out things that are from Canada because there is a lot of quality, but not many people notice it. -

Well if I didn't have school tommarow I would go tommarow but since I can't I am gonna try to go Saturday, that's if my dad has the money to give me and he lets me see it(he is still debating weather I can see it or some crap but I think he will let me see it).
All I gotta do is get him to sign some permission form at the theater since they have that peeps under 17 must be accompied by an adult for rated R movies shit. -

This feels more like a 28 Days Later (which sucked in its own right) ripoff than a remake of Dawn of the Dead. Screw it, I'm seeing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. -

I need to buy new clothes. I have 2 pairs of pants and a few shirts that all are starting to look very stupid and small on me except for my Blue jeans but even those are starting to go. So I may go see this movie this weekend depeding what my dad has left over from clothes shopping or wait till next weekend to see it.
Ethier way I am gonna see this movie.
Anyone else going this weekend or today for that matter since it is released today?
Little of topic there but whatever......lol. -

You fucking idiot, the original was a classic, we don't need a new "spiffed up" remake to fuck it up. Sorry but I can't stand remakes like this, especialy considering DOTD is one my favorite movies of all time, and this new one rips of 28 days later (with zombies running at 60 miles an hour). I'm with cg? on this one. -

Everyone is saying DotD is a ripoff of 28 Days Later.. but I think 28 Days Later was a ripoff of the original DotD. By the way.. it still maintains a lot of the qualities the original had, without trying too hard. Look:

See? Good reviews.
