UPDATE: Several new buildings have popped up in the last week. Construction on Mainstream USA has begun. This area is a futuristic type replication of Disney's Mainstreet USA, the main difference being the modern & brightly colored buildings. The first picture below is a preview. Pictured are Latte Co Coffee, T.Z. Toys, Aladdin's Castle (arcade on left) and an sherbet ice cream parlor at the top. A ripsaw swing ride is also nestled in the middle of it all. T.Z.A.P. marketers are still coming up with names for each attraction here in Mainstream. Park construction has progressed and is now at 45% The areas include:
-Guest Welcome Center (100%)
-Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow (100%)
-Seal Circus (100%)
-CoasterNation (90%)
-Mainstream USA (35%)
-Barnaby Jack's Restaurant (98%)
-Paradise Cay / RumRunner / Shipwreck Rapids (minetrain coaster / water attraction, 10%)

I like your main entrance, and Mainstream USA is WILD (in a good way).
I don't like the alternating colors of that Inverted coaster. I'd change it to that dark cherry color that no-one seems to use... -

It looks good. I really love your wild Mainstream USA area. The Castlevania coaster does look a bit weird with the colors.
You need to change the land type under the paths in Coaster Nation. -

It looks good. Remindes me of Aero21 WB park. You have a really good style going and like Ohiocoasterfreak said change the land type 'under paths.

aaaah *slobbers over keyboard*. there's some very very nice stuff in here! In particular, i think that your choice of colours is excellent, particularly the water show, which is my favourite shot. you've obviously worked hard at this, and i can't wait to see it added to the rctx park database! -

It pisses me off when people say that all the time. I mean, It's not like it's a written rule of RCT2.and like Ohiocoasterfreak said change the land type 'under paths.
Totally cliche'.

Anyways, the short awning thing is getting repetitive in Mainstream USA. Maybe you could replace some of them with balconies.
On the coaster station, IMO, the two reds (or however many reds are on it) and the pink are clashing. You could get rid of the pink.
Otherwise, it's awesome. -

I really like the pipe coaster supports, and the colours on the buildings are cool too.
I think you mean 'quay' though, instead of 'cay'.
Nice work. -

UPDATE: Construction has surpassed the halfway mark here at ThrillZone. An amazing new adventure ride & coaster are nearing completion. These ride wills incorporate several themes, including midevil, jungle, water & pirate. Park executives have also released the park logo seen below: (my first one btw)
Constuction will be moving at an accelerated pace in the next couple weeks as the park grand opening is scheduled for May 1, 2004. However this date may be pushed back if construction is slowed due to poor weather.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following is an exclusive preview of the amazing new adventure ride area at ThrillZone. The name for this area is still being determined, but the rides themselves are complete, and theming is at 85%. The first ride, Shipwreck Safari, has not been completed, but will be similar to Disneyland's Pirates of the Carribbean. First, riders slowly meander through the war-torn beach of Paradise Island. Then, they enter the evil Isle of Evil to learn about the pirates who hoard their gold & jewely within the island's center. The raft then travels thru the town of Port Arthur, which once served as a rum distillery & rum shipping port. But the ride station and entrance area for this ride are not built at this time.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The second ride, Rum Runner, is an amazing mine train coaster that once roamed the mine tunnel used by the pirates from Isle of Evil for mining gold ore. These pirates were defeated by the inhabitants of Port Arthur during their war years ago. Its a wet & wild ride as the train does encounter several water falls. Here are some previews & the RumRunner logo:
**please feel free to comment on the logos, cuz I'm a n00b at the graphics stuff...thanks -

I guess it means everyone likes it when I get no comments, or at least I hope so. Anyway, maybe somemore screens will help so here are two more.....
More of Port Arthur & RumRunner's station near top
Just a taste of Shipwreck Safari
Please comment if possible. Thanks -

The buildings, foliage and land all look really great, but i'm not keen on the rising turn into the lift hill - it kinda looks awkward...skewed across the screen. It probably looks better from a different angle.
And my bad about the Cay - i'll remember that now -

Wow, JKay. I'm seriously impressed. It feels to me like you seriously throw yourself into your parks. The Western area is my favorite, although the coaster's lift hill is a bit ugly. The colors in those first screens are brilliant. I really love it. Are you doing H2H? Would you like to? I could kick cBass off the team, he sucks anyway -

thanks Micool, I appreciate the feedback....I wanted to do H2H, but guess I just kinda fluffed it off to keep working on this solo....dont get me wrong tho, I'd still be interested in a spot.....you're both correct about the lift, does look wierd, didnt really notice that till you pointed it out....I'll look for a fix there.....thanks againWow, JKay. That looks pretty cool. I really like this park an how much you have improved and this park has such a great atmosphere. Nice job.
I say send this in for a runner up or even possibly a spotlight, I'm sure you could win at least a runner up.
