I think we should just make the assumption that all parks are Disney unless stated otherwise.

    Seville, Spain

This update shows part of the Augusta Bay Hotel. This 500-room complex is located right next to the main theme park and even features rooms with a view of the park interior! Designed for travellers on a budget, this hotel is less expensive than the other two hotel lodges but still maintains the Disney charm, elegance, and accomodations.

The theme involves a tropical blend of Mediterranean themes, and the rooms are laid out around a central pool. Guests can access the hotel from the Aquasphere Plaza or drive up to the lobby from the other side of the complex.

Shown here are the private spas and some of the rooms overlooking the interior of the park. This secluded little corner is a definitely romantic hotspot and quite charming.

The Walt Disney Escape Resort has quickly become the most popular tourist destination in Spain, attracting over 12 million guests a year. DisneySEA Escape will only further cement this popularity, and its Disney quality will ensure that Disney remains a dominant force in Europe for many years to come.

It is very nice, Corky! The blood red is just delicious.
The atmosphere is amazing, I love the trees and yellow flowers.
    It's just mhmmm mhmmm good.

Now hurry up and finish. Or let me have a sneak. ;)

Omg. Perfection. It really is true. Asians are good at everything. I can't believe how gorgeous that picture is.
  • Micool%s's Photo
Oh my God John, I can't believe you're still flirting with him.
CROKsir- Very nice. I really like it a lot. This is how the stacking feature should be used in RCT2, I think. The high wall is very well done, since it doesn't crowd the path, at least from the angle of the screen. The blood red is an obvious but likeable choice. BIG props on all those little columns everywhere, although I don't get the joke. Nice use of custom scenery, subtle but enhancing. And hey, is that building's roof--the one in the front--is that blood red? Cause if it is, it's too bright and I wouldn't keep it. It looks bright red to me. But, everyone else will probably like it. *misery*

I'm sorry I happen to like most of his work?
The roof you're talking about is blood red, the angle makes it glare.
If it were really bright red, you'd know right away.

That's very realistic! and marble & red color is very nice!

Too large, too hectic and too close together for my liking.
  • Tech Artist%s's Photo
I like the colors but it is too close together and there is way too many doors and windows. Add balconys and stuff. Come on Corky I know you can do better than this.

Come on Corky I know you can do better than this.

Better?!...how could he do better than that???!....I mean that screen has got more flavor than a cherry Tootsie pop.....The red roofs certainly dominate the screen, but they make the veiwer see all the separated buildings as one to give it that classic hotel / resort feel. da da da da ddaaa....I'm lovin' it..... :D

    Nice work Corky!

i hear those mini-fountains were created by the Queer Eye guys. that's my only gripe, other than the ones against your style of building in it's entirity.
Samantha Brown on Great Hotels is fine.

    LOL

    I made you come back.

    quote from corky's disney guide--

In fact, for hotels, stick to six stories or less.

maybe its just me, but the hotel he's got there, is about 8 stories or so. now, i'm not saying its a bad thing, but your kinda going against what you said.

dont get me wrong though, its still great.
  • Corkscrewed%s's Photo
I guess I wasn't really clear. The top two aren't really for rooms... they're more like lobby type or observation spaces. The mass of your hotel should typically be six stories or less, but that doesn't mean you can have small portions that rise above that general horizontal datum line so that it looks a bit interesting. :D Hope that clears things up.

(Also, it's implied that those are general guidelines. As you get older, you may learn that rules can be broken if you know how. ;))
  • Steve%s's Photo
Stop making up excuses. You know that you wanted it taller, you just couldn't hide it. :p

It's still looking great Corrkcscreemed. ;)
  • laz0rz%s's Photo
Why are there so many types of windows?

The cabbage tree doesn't ft in either.
  • Geoff%s's Photo
    wow....

    awesome!

This is really fantastic. One of the best hotels I have ever seen. the realism is very lovely (I sound so f#ing proper when posting for one of your parks). You're a genious at color combinations.
  • penguinBOB%s's Photo
My only complaint is that the bubbly watter stuff is too bright--I think you used the lighter aqua, if not, don't worry about it.

oh yeah, and the bigger the better and screw your guide. ;) :p
